So i did post my square! :j

here it is:


I chose to do 'I' as that is my fiance's initial. :iloveyou: :happylove

I'm really glad I chose to take part, it was a nice thing to stich for a charity quilt. I learnt a few new techniques (random outlining, and french knots), which is great . And I can't wait to see the finished quilt.

I've finally got round to charting & stitching my name & location onto my square. :j Once I sat down and started doing it, it didn't take that long, but I hate planning the lettering!



So pleased it's all done now & I'll get it posted off today, so it'll be with you soon, Lellypants. Now, what to stitch next???

Thanks for updating the pics, Louise!
I chose F because by the time I'd got back from holiday & caught up with the posts, there wasn't much to chose from. Glad I chose one with minimum french knots, though!

Are there any more squares that need to be done??

Let me know...if one is needed, could someone send me a square of white Aida please....have plenty of threads, just need the material. The "white" Aida I have is decidedly cream beside the ones I have already done for the quilt.

Great to look through all the squares on the front page...it all looks so good, can't wait to see the finished quilt!!

well I have FINALLY washed my squares..... might actually get round to ironing them......... but then I'd be obliged to tackle ironing mountain in the spare room (it's taking over) and then I won't get any stitching done all night (I'm not kidding will post a pic later) - ohhhh now look what you are making me do!!

It is looking fab tho........ any news from Lellypants?

Enjoyng doing a nice quick and easy project...struggling with the bigger ones atm.

I posted off my square on Tuesday (first class) & put a note in the envelope asking her to let me know when it arrived. Nothing yet, but knowing the Royal Mail, it might still be on the way...

Lellypants, if you're reading this, please let us know our squares are in your care, not MIA...ta!
