For those of you still experiencing problems. Please try clearing your cache, cookies, history etc... Basically try to return your browsers to a "clean" state. Ensure your browser is configured to save cookies when you quit the browser, not block or delete them. If all else fails try a different browser.
I've only skim read a few pages of this thread so apologies if this has already been answered.
Is there a list of less drastic solutions to try first? I'm not keen on deleting all my history & passwords etc as this will affect my usage of other sites. I'm using firefox & am having to log in a few times a day. Don't usually have to log in at all. Thanks0 -

Deleting cookies and history should not have a negative effect, quite the reverse. It is good to clear them occasionally as they can be a security risk. The browser will appear to forget you afterwards but the passwords are still stored under Tools, Options, Security, Saved Passwords. I find the fastest way to clean everything up is CCleaner which is freeware downloadable via FileHippo.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

As above, I've cleared cache, cookies history etc, but strike through box is still missing for me.0 -
Is anyone else experiencing difficulties in terms of speed of the forum? It seems to be slowing down to a slower than dial-up speed then speeding up again and sometimes isn't processing the pages so that I either receive a 404 error or just a blank white page.
I have checked my broadband connection and cookies etc. It has only started doing it since the upgrade.
Additionally, the search facility still isn't working properly. Sometimes I can enter a search term which I know definitely exists and I get a no matches found response only to enter it again after the 15 seconds have elapsed to find a whole list of matches. Are you still having problems with this facility?4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0 -
Hi Ian... and Webby who got my account back and running right.
Thank you for replying and helping out where you could. Really appreciate the assistance - still no idea why my account stopped working properly (couldn't post or PM but could log in fine).
Noticed you've been receving a few negative posts so thought I'd let everyone know that the guy who helped me out did a great job.
And thanks to Arty Farty also!0 -

Hi,
On the comps board I've changed a couple of end dates in the thread title but the edit is not showing from the main board which means they'll go into game over before they're supposed to
e.g. this one still showing 29/05 from the board but you can see I've changed it to 29/06 in the thread
sorry if it's been mentioned, I did try to search the thread but didn't find anything
thanks0
