I ate the chocolates... They were good!
As you were...
how lovely is your husband :T0 -
I have a whingy baby. Think it must be the jabs. Poor little thing. Calpol has been administered so hopefully there will be napping soon.0

We have so far had a blue streak, broken glass in one toe (mine), a phone call to the manufacturer because the instructions are for a different bed, and now we're having a break from bed-building because it doesn't seem to be working properly and Husband is getting annoyed.
I have a Skype conference at 5ish and no doubt Molly will be awake again by then and needing to be amused.
Also, I'm considering enrolling on an online counselling course to give me a Certificate in Counselling. Thoughts?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I am currently on slim fast but i pick all the time as i feel hungry. I have heard good things about the cambridge diet but i need a doc to sign it is safe for me to do it and he won't. I had better dust of the stepper in the garage.
My boot camp trainer told us never to try Slim Fast and other shakes/meal replacement type diets. She said you do lose weight but you are likely to pile it all back on again when you start eating normal food again. They're expensive too and don't taste very nice.
She said the best way to lose weight is to change your diet - smaller portions, low fat foods, healthy snacks, grill instead of fry, lean meat with the fat cut off and so on. It's cheaper and if you do it right, it's more filling than shakes. Plus plenty of exercise to burn off excess fat too.T
late year 8 going on Year 9 by any chance???
Year 9 are notorious for being gits... they get better once they hit year 10.
I find withdrawal of recreational benefits helps.. consoles, phones, social activities...
Josh is at that stage now. He's in year 8. I feel like I'm forever signing to acknowledge break time detentions for silly behaviour in class
I do the removal of phone, xbox etc., at home and it does help. He really doesn't like it when his friends call and I tell them he is grounded for acting himself :rotfl:
3 - could you have a chat about respecting other people's stuff? Mine do the banging stuff thing sometimes, and they always get told off for showing no respect to my stuff and I tell them I worked really hard to pay for it and I don't expect it to get damaged by silly behaviour. That seems to work.
Weather is pants here. It's grey, raining and cold and feels more like November than June. We had to put winter coats on when we took the dogs out
Here I go again on my own....0 -
Krystal that's so sweet

Yay WM for the big tc payout, hope you get something very lovely next pay day
Oooh can I tag along to the meet? I've not got a sling, and I can't make cakes...but er...please?
Well done to all you lovelies losing weight :j:j (could you send me some motivation please, I lost the weight and then put it back on, because I like chocolate digestives too much, and am officially fat at present )
Elasti the dress is lovely - if you want a quick fix, I'd try slim fast, I know it's c*ap really and all it does is make you consume hardly any calories, but it's easy if you're tempted by food, because it takes it away!
My friend wears magic pants from Primark, swears by them
How's baby James?
Happy Birthday Glam  Hope you have lovely plans to celebrate x
EA congrats on becoming MRS, how exciting! Does it feel different? Not long til I join the wedded club, eek!
SJ I need to get to baby group too - we should try & make the Monday one together one day soon!!
Can't remember who linked to the amber necklaces the other day but I ended up getting one from the recommended eBay seller, just waiting for its arrival now. Hoping it'll help with the teething pain (in my 11 week old, eek!), he's dribbling like mad and occasionally screams out at random
I've been MIA again...so pants at this keeping up business!! Have popped in and out but never had time to post, but right now I'm sat in a clean tidy house waiting for someone to come view it, sans baby (deposited with his grandparents) so have 20 minutes of quiet to myself, ahhh, bliss
Sorry if I've missed anything big, will try & catch up more later if I can leave the baby a bit longer!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -

Finally got to TK Maxx...only ended up with 1 pair of jeans, but at least that means he has 3 pairs now(although he hates one of those pairs as they are 'annoying' apparantly), still, gives me a few weeks till summer hols to pick up another pair or two. He did get 4 t-shirts though, all around the £5-£6 mark reduced from £14.99 each...so not bad at all:D:D and I have ordered 3 from the site Tara linked me to....I am happier now.
Need to go and put some dinner on shortly, I am thinking either curry or sweet and sour?
xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
