There were 9 of us inc my 78yo Nan, a 10yo, 6yo, 5yo and Caitlyn...

We went to Abersoch beach, it's lovely and sandy and as the sea goes out it's quite shallow and you can wade out to the sand flats in the middle... We took little nets into the water and caught a couple of different small fish...

We went to the Pilli Palas which was small, we only spent the morning there but the children really enjoyed themselves and there's 2 large play areas so we could have easily been there all day. (And got to hold a millipede, giant african land snail and a giant spiky stick insecty thing)

We went to caernarfon castle and had a wander around the small town, it wasn't great with the pushchair so we didn't get to go round the museum and there was always someone stood down the bottom with the buggy...

We caught the bus into Pwllheli on Wednesday for market day but it's not really anything to write home about... There's some pretty gift shops in the town centre but not a fat lot else...

And Criccieth has a stony beach and a small castle but there's often porpoise in the bay and the most fantastic ice cream parlour (there are smaller ones in Pwllehli and a port merion but they don't do as many flavours)

And on the way home we came via Portmeirion which we paid for with Tesco vouchers... It's very pretty and nice to walk around, lots of steps and slopes but mostly accesible with a buggy... Loads of gift shops and tea rooms...

We drove around the bottom of Snowdon but didn't get the train up or anything because it was extortionate lol...

There's loads of great countyside and while we were there the horse in the field next to our cottage had a foal... The children loved watching them :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

    Evening all,

I saw someone mentioned babybanz earlier, we got Isla the retro ones and she loves them. The only problem is that even when their on loose they seem to leave a mark on her face but any looser and they'd slide down her face. She wore them all round the park today and got lots of comments :D

And BB definately need to have a section where you fill in your profile and let them know the sort of things you already use. I joined in September but didn't get my first item until November and only got offered the dummy this week, so 6 months between items. It seemed to work telling them it wasn't suitable and what we 'do' though :)

OH has gone clubbing as a friend is emigrating to Oz and it's her leaving night out, he was really tired and didn't want to go. He seemed quite jealous of me putting my pj's on and settling down for a night on the sofa while he was getting ready to leave :rotfl:

Hope everyone's well, hugs where necessary x x

Golly, Thanks Krystal. Will have a look at those in the morning before we leave - have a rolly baby about to wake I think. The animal place looks fab cos I've not seen any animal-y places near there in my quick scout of the net - and it's always good to have personal recomendations! Oh and Dad keeps going on about the Wed market so will warn him not to expect too much lol.

Oh and will defo keep sling with me for non-accessible places - good thinking!

Have a good week all xxx

Yeah, I really wished I'd taken the hawk with me when we went to the castle... We could have taken turns carrying her and been able to climb to the top together!

One other place we contemplated going was gypsy wood but my uncle wasn't too keen so couldn't tell you what it's like...

Eta: The Crown Hotel in pwllheli has free wifi... pm me if you want the passcode lol...

((HUGS)) SJ - Why are things always so complicated, I hope your mum gets sorted.

EA - Loads of love and good luck vibes coming your way for tomorrow:D

I got an e-mail off BB asking if I was planning on Breastfeeding new baby as they have some kind of sling/bag to aid breastfeeding. Like others have said, if we had somewhere to put an actual profile they would already know this kind of info!

I also got a letter from HV today, a follow up visit to assess K's talking....well there won't be much to assess as he won't say a word. Just plenty of shouting and rararaaraa, Aaaaaaaaaahhhaaaaa noises, and pointing at what he wants!! he is just a lazy booger, but she is going to come and make me feel like a crap mum, they always do. I am tempted to keep putting the appt off until they give up and by then k will be chatting away. the older two were late talkers and according to my mum, so was I and my 2 brothers and my sister!!!! I really can't be bothered to be made to feel like a piece of crap, and I hate that snooty old HV anyway:(
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
