Thanks Guys, might at least delay for now...you have all made me feel better about doing so. She wants to come next Thursday at the same time as tots grp is on so would much prefer to go to out to that anyway:)

That's why I like you lot...I was feeling really down about that letter, and the fact that I know he is just being lazy because he did used to say Hiya, mama, dada...but now refuses to say anything. Since this morning I have been going on at him to speak, and getting myself all worked up about it.

    Mel xx

I have to say that I honestly don't know how much our babies are supposed to be saying but I gave up worrying about comparing babies at about week 3 (when Kai started sleeping through :p). If he was 2 or more and still refusing to speak then maybe I would think differently, but our boys are still closer to babies than children IYSWIM.

Plus Benjamin won't speak on demand usually anyway - maybe you could just tell the HV that he says loads and get her off your back ;)

SM I might be, I'll check through the boxes of next size stuff as I know we have another monkey suit in there but I'm not 100% what size it is.

I was going to have an early night but somehow I've ended up on the net all night looking at random sites.

I have tried not to compare at all, but I find myself comparing my own all the time iykwim:o

Like K Loves playing football and has a mean kick on him...ds2 wasn't even walking at the age K is now, and couldn't kick a ball till he was about 2yrs old!! Whereas ds1 was walikng confidently at 8mths old.....

    They are all so different.

My little sister didn't talk until near to two and then just talked fluently, full sentences, not bothering with the one word at a time route. she honestly sounded like she had been talking for ages!!

I think i will put her off this time and then maybe tell some porkies if she insists on a visit soon after;)

    Thank You and night night:)

Does anyone know if the new Robin Hood film is blokey or girly?

Blokey and you need to know that it is all about how he became Robin Hood so none of the usual Robin Hood stuff in it which is a bit annoying if you were expecting it like I was.

Looks like hugs are needed and sleepy baby vibes and goodluck EA for tomorrow.

Mel, as others have said I would tell hv where to go. I know of 2 18 month olds who aren't talking at all yet and they are both fine.

Sorry didn't say earlier but hope you have an amazing day EA :-)

Posting on phone still a pain!

Thanks again for all the well wishes tonight. You guys are great :-)

    Morning

K decided that 5.30 was a good time to get up....He got promptly strapped in the puschair and shoved in front of the tv so very tired mummy could get a bit more sleep:o

All three are up now and fed.

It is my brother and sister's joint birthday BBQ party today:) It will start about 3-4pm and go on until the last person passes out... Last year I think they were still up drinking at 6am:eek:

No plans for this morning really, just need to find something to wear that doesn't make me look hideous:cool:

What you actually mean is before MFD made me tell you lot who BB were and you greedy b00gers all signed up and got all the good stuff ;)

Loving the new avvy SB - can we see a big version please? :A

Now, my good friend MFD, would I ever say such a thing? :p

And thank you! Avvy was taken two sundays ago when everyone had their paddling pools out. Its currently my profile pic on FB :D

    How is Benjamin doing?

Mel, how come she has scheduled a visit? Do you remember my HV worring me about Jamie not saying 'Mama, Dada, Baba' at 7m?! (it was his 8m check a month early). I don't think anyone elses baby has been expected to do this at their checks.

Different PCT's seem to have all kinds of ideas on our baby's development so try not to worry. My nephew started talking at 2, only a few words not sentences, and his HV still doesn't see it as an issue.

    xx
