JEALOUS!
Hugs Mel, it can't be easy for you. I'd put the HV off and then when she comes around to look at your newest bubs tell her he's talking a bit and that your family were all late talkers so you're not worried. Then distract her with a question about the small one. I posted a while ago about my friend's son who wasn't speaking at all, except he was chatting in fluent Mandarin to a friend at kindergarten. Babies do their stuff at their own pace.
Thanks ladies for your kind words and hugs :A I was pretty low last night and as ever you were all very lovely.
Happy anniversary Sami!
Happy birthday Ladybird!
Happy wedding day EA!
Happy bridesmaiding GISI!

Different PCT's seem to have all kinds of ideas on our baby's development so try not to worry. My nephew started talking at 2, only a few words not sentences, and his HV still doesn't see it as an issue.
xx
Similar reason SB, she came when he wasn't even 8mths and started going on that he should be saying mama, dada, baba even cat and dog, or at least making sounds like the cat or dog when he sees them!!! She said at the time she would review him in 4-6mths....I forgot all about it though, until this letter dropped through the door.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Krystal - sounds like a lovely holiday x
mel - that's awful your hv isn't listening to you! You know best specialy already having 2 who were the same.!
Jam - have a fab holibobs x
EA - you may not see this but hope your day is off to a good start x
Really hope BB pull there finger out soon as so far since nov only had 1 item and wasn't even baby related, a t shirt for OH!!!
T decided she wanted a few extra feeds last night so a lil more sleep deprived than usual and really feeling it as haven't had a single lie in this week what with OH being off. He did take her down for an hour this morning while I attempted to sleep but probably only managed about 20min. She is a very happy/content this morning tho and us gurgling and cooing away to her self in her travel cot. In laws mentioned about BBQ today so hopefully going there, OH usually ends up doing it tho what with him being a grill chef lol. !Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Morning SB & everyone else.
I've got girl-flu.
Did Elle say something about magic tablets yesterday?
Mel I'd also tell her to booger off! V's check was at 13 months and hv was only concerned that she was making noises. No mention of talking. And she still only says dada, mama, det down, hiya - and lots of random babbling!
ETA: Did Searchie ask how yesterday went? It was ok. L decided not to come in the end. Ex-OH was civil. I saw Ex-FIL (he & ex-MIL divorced a long time ago) when I got to the crem. so sneaked into the back with him. There were lots of people there, and was invited back to the wake at a manky little pub in chav-town, I imagine the fights started around teatime!:beer:0 -
Morning all! Going to get my holiday tickets today Whooohoooo!
K is going visiting with PIL to see all the family for the day so will make a start on his ironing and packing!
3- How did yesterday go? Did L go in the end?
eta:my OH loves that V calls the dog det down!0 -

I just edited my last post to answer Searchie about yesterday. But it wasn't too bad, and I escaped straight after the crem. L didn't come.
V now calls all animals 'det down', in real life or on tv. She also says 'det down' when she sees an aeroplane!:beer:0 -

Ooops, didn't see it, I was over the page by then. Sounds like you left at the right time!
Shes obviously wondering what its doing in the sky!
Do you have any bids on your pram yet? OH said I can swap chassis if you are still up for it? :A0
