CSH- tomorrow is good for the sun as i am off
DH is working tomorrow, off today but he doesnt deserve any sun today for waking me up in the small hours.
:rotfl::rotfl:I like your thinking.
SJ, Thought i'd quoted, but maybe not. Is the Camelot day out vouchers you have? Can you not go there on Sunday, as it is very close to Wigan.
Haven't been since I was a youngster at college, so have no idea what is there these days.
MFD, total cuteness from Benjamin and his copying. Can't help with Hubbys present though. I am rubbish choosing gifts. Although have just noticed the watch sale advert on the right hand side, but this will not help for a prezzie needed tomorrow. So I am still useless.
Beenie, Noooo you bought a pram. Does that mean no more buggy sagas?
Welcome to Lou and LLL
Last night was Judo night, So OH is left in charge of Alex and his bedtime. Also chippy tea night. OH text to say didn't need to get him anything as he would make his own. So Joe and I ate our chips, whilst he made his own tea. Have no idea what this was about, as the possible £2 he has saved me, goes no where near to recouping the £250 that is "lost".
Also when he came in from work, pointed out the mark on the floor where he had apparently knocked over a can of larger the night before. But "i'm not doing the sweeping eye thing" which is what he does when he comes in, when he expects me to have brushed up and mopped the floor, within the 20 minutes that I have been home and walked through the door with 2 kids, 5 + bags and have 2 dogs to see to as well. I am totally gob smacked that he was able to go to bed and sleep, knowing he has spilled a drink and not cleaned it up. He is so the male version of "Monica" from friends.
I was up 3 times in the night with alex. He woke again at 6.30 talking away to himself, by 7 he was crying and i refused to budge to go and get him. It nearly killed me not going for him, but I managed to stay still long enough for OH to actually get off his backside and go and get him and give him his morning bottle. So yay me for "baby steps" in getting OH to actually do something.
I am also quite sure he had forgotten that I am going to the cinema tonight and not only will he have to see to Alex, but Joe too. See how he likes it. Ner, ner, ner, ner, ner.:p0 -

Poor Alice. Do you or OH suffer Susan? My friends little girl has just been diagnosed, she's only 18 months old and is the first in the family so her mum & dad are trying to learn what they can about it.I have to make a phonecall today and I am so excited! When I've made it I'll tell you all about it, but I don't want to tempt fate just yet!
Josh is watching Horrible Histories - it's actually really good. It's informative and not the usual shouty rubbish you get on kids tv.
We love Horrible Histories - Liv watches them over and over on the iplayer and never gets bored with it. I like it because it teaches history but makes it funny!
Bruno Hope the scan goes well and you get a lovely pic of your new little jellybean. Are we still the only ones who know?, were you waiting til this scan before telling everyone?
I had a horrendous day yesterday with DS - thinking about it, his behavior has gone downhill in the last six months (not just since he turned 13 a couple of weeks ago!). I don't know where to turn really, i'll make an appointment with his Dr. for ideas, but it's all done through school, which is closed this week.:beer:0 -
Oh Susan, I'm sorry, I missed your post.
What tests are they running? Is it likely to be a mild form? :grouphug:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Awww poor Alice
give us an update when you know more, Susan?
Thanks 3, you are still the only ones who know, bar a friend of OH's at toddler group
I will tell people post-scan, but OH really wants to not tell my mum or her dad because she doesn't want the "advice" and attention she will be bombarded with. I have promised to manage my mum but she is unconvinced...! 0 -
Bruno Hopefully the parents won't be so pushy with the advice this time round. You & OH have done it all before, you know everything now!:beer:0

She's had a bad cough for two and a half weeks which hasn't got any better and you can often tell when she's going to start coughing because you can hear that she can't quite breathe properly. OH has mild asthma and we both have hayfever and various other allergies between us so she is high risk for this kind of thing. We've been given an inhaler to see if it helps and have to go back in two weeks if it doesn't help and four weeks if it does. I'm not sure which is worse - it working and her having asthma or it not working and the sleep deprivation continuing.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I hope Alice starts to feel better (and you get some more sleep) Susan.
I'm holding you all responsible for my desire to get a new pushchair just because the raincover has split on my single pushchair. I have been very MSE with pushchairs up tp now though, Charlie's single pushchair £45, double - freecycle, been using Charlies pushchair for Reece but as the wheels are worn on an angle now from all the walking/pushing it around I've done and the raincover would have cost me about £15 to replace I've got a new one from ebay thats only 4 months old for £51. Just got to tell hubby what I've done!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009
