MFD, will DSS not be there with Benjamin? I'd imagine that if he stays within sight for a bit Benjamin will be fine till he gets distracted by something shiny or noisy and then when you turn up all blissful and relaxed he'll just be peeved at being taken away
They are different clubs. Benjamin is in Bumblebees, which is for 6-24 months and tailored to baby-type activities. DSS is in 'Madness and Mayhem' which starts with them all designing a t-shirt and then wearing the t-shirt as they go through a range of activities.
I am not overly worried - Benjamin is quite a confident and independent little boy so he should be okay as long as there is stuff for him to climb on / throw / chuck himself down!!!
CP is well set up and they know where you are going and contact you if baby doesn't settle in 20 mins.
Jenny - I dropped a few hints with a director colleague that he could do with a competent manager to drive some of the initiatives that I have implemented...we'll see. I am well known and well respected so fingers crossed somebody will snap me up!!
Tara - everybody's problems are equal!! Mine are just whoppers atm!!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Ah, I'm sure Benjamin will be fine. And you will be too, like you said you're well known enough that someone will realise they can't manage without you.
OK, rounds in the morning at ten-to-very-early so I'm going to drink my giant glass of water and head to bed. There's a thread asking what to do when a very premature baby is born into the extended family, can someone who knows the answer maybe pop in and support Tigs's contribution please?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Neice came up at give me a manicure and ended up being sick rather messily all over the bathroom everywhere but the inside of the toilet. So now my emetophobia is playing up and I'm thirsty but can't drink plus I've ran out of bleach so panicking! It's completely irrational I know but knowing that doesn't help. I was able to clean up after she cleaned most of it off the floor, which is a big step. I couldn't even go upstairs when Amber was crying until she had cleaned most of it up. And I need to pee but she was sick there and I need a shower and to scrub myself but she was sick there! So now for a good few days I won't be able to breath when I go into the toilet. And even saying she's only 13 and still a child isn't helping. I'm okish with the boys but this is hard.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm about to burst into tears !!!!!!! Tell me it's ok...0 -
Tia, it's fine. Do you have a pair of plastic flip flops? If you need to shower, you can wear those and then you're clean and they're clean, and all you have to do to stay clean is to keep the shoes between you and the floor. And then you can take them off outside the door and get someone to throw them into the dishwasher.
You can get bleach tomorrow and it'll be ok.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

SJ - I think you must remove the calories from your cakes before you eat them as you look fab. If I was baking all day I'd be the size of a house! Ooops about missing the party though. If you break the cake in half before eating then all the calories jump out!:rotfl: whereas if you just bite it then they all fall in your mouth:p
I am stupidly tired considering all the sleep I'm getting. Been round at mum;s tonight ans bought her and me chinese for tea to cheer her up a bit. My grandma has just a couple of weeks ago finished her chemo but has been at hospital yesterday and had it confirmed that the 2 new lumps she's found are more lymphomasShe's got a patch of dry skin type stuff on her neck too whoch she's getting checked out at hospital next month which I'm guessing is skin cancer too (she's already had 3 lots removed from various places) So mum is understandably pretty upset. To top it off my grandad has got shingles. It just seems one thing after another with them at the moment.
. Hope all the OH's are on the mend, babies are behaving and sleeping and mummies are happy and well/Sorry not to be keeping up and just posting about myself, struggling for time to do anything at he moment0 -
Oh Tia, poor you

Starting to calm down now. I'm actually being quite good, I avoided an entire street in the town centre for 6 years after I saw someone being sick.
