Sami, I'm in need of a steady calm head, Erin just tried her dress on and I could only get the zip done up if she stood straight without slouching her shoulders, I'm panicing it won't fit in 5 weeks time, not the sellers fault as they did it exactly to my measurements but I didn't add anything as I thought she wouldn't grow that quick. Are they supposed to fit like that, or should I consider taking to a seamstress to have some lacing put in in place of the zip? Omg, I feel sick.

Step back and take a deep breath :grouphug:. You will have an amazing day and won't even remember all these last minute panics in years to come. Personally I would seek out a seamstress and get the dress taken out a little, or lacing put in. As SS says though, you could definitely get away with a cardi over the top if you didn't want to adjust the dress.

    Evening all.

I got through my day. Haven't told any of the companies that I work with that I won't be there for long because I want to tell my assistant first (she is on hols atm).

Hubby has taken my news particularly hard. If I have a spell without a job he would have to consider winding his company up and putting his 8 employees out of work. At the moment hubby doesn't contribute to household expenses other than 'treat' money as and when the company has surplus.

Benjamin is poorly, has hardly eaten and has a really runny bottom. He wouldn't take his bottle this evening (took a few sips and started wretching) so I am expecting a broken night.

However - in cuteness of the day...

:A I was woken this morning at 4am () by Benjamin singing 'moooooommmmmmeeeeeee, mmmmmoooooommmmmeeee' Very cute!!

:AHubby has taught Benjamin to rub noses - hubby said to B tonight 'rub noses with mummy' and Benjamin came to me, grabbed hold of either side of my head and leaned in to rub his nose against mine :A My heart soared!!!

    Hope everyone is well xx

Hugs MFD. I had no idea that your news would affect yours and DH's lives so much. That really, really sucks. I hope things come good for you.

Benjamin sounds so, so sweet though. Henry has just started properly cuddling and it is just heart-warming.

jenny, if u just want something basic, the 99p store on the high rd has tiny paddling pools perfect for babies :)

thanks for this tip - found and bought on in the 99p store in Sutton, reckon it'll work very well as a travel bath for T as we're off to mum's for 2 weeks and she's only got showers. And a swimming pool :)

Why not order in a takeaway for everyone and some dessert for you and OH for later when the kids are in bed?

Edit: FB people, I am desperate to play Lexulous after Bruno kicked my butt earlier on. Anyone?

Takeaway, here, what is this you speak of? :rotfl:

And what is Lexulous, can you still do it after wine?

MFD, I have everything crossed for you, I really hope it doesn't go that far, apart from that I don't know what to say as it's all useless drivel in an awful situation. Sorry. XXXXXXXX

Jillie - huge hugs hun. At least the inquest is over now and you can move on step by step. xx
Are you spa-ing it at CP, MFD? I love, love, love the CP spa and cannot wait to go myself in four weeks.

How about a CP meet? That would be amazing!

I would love a CP meet but it can be expensive.

We are having a joint mud treatment on Sunday morning whilst the boys are in kids club - hoping against hope that Benjamin settles...he has never stayed with anyone he didn't know since he started with the CM and he was only 7 months then so he didn't really understand.

Sorry to come whinging on here about my life and work again. I hope you understand that often there is nobody else to moan to (other than hubby and he gets the full force of it anyway) because family would worry too much. Your useless drivel keeps me going xx

MFD, will DSS not be there with Benjamin? I'd imagine that if he stays within sight for a bit Benjamin will be fine till he gets distracted by something shiny or noisy and then when you turn up all blissful and relaxed he'll just be peeved at being taken away :)

Baby has gone to bed in the crib, leaving the [STRIKE]BED[/STRIKE] mattress on the floor free for grown up time. Goodnight lovelies :)

Edit: never mind, Husband is already asleep :rotfl:

Aww MFD, I hope it doesn't come to loosing the business, your in the right place here to find ways of staying afloat. Have you started looking about for new jobs? All the best jobs seem to come through people you know so it might be worth putting some feelers out (at least they do in my industry).

Oh sorry Tara I wandered off after my last post.
I wouldn't worry firstly! Once she's in it it should be fine, she shouldn't be slouching any way ;) She might not change from now but if you are really worried take it to someone and see what can be done to let it out a bit.
I would though check the measurements, I'd have thought that if you gave exact measurements then the dressmaker would add a bit of breathing room!
    It will be fine xxx
