Interesting day yesterday.
Since I started back at work I've had a really sore shoulder and all down my back. Yesterday was the worst its been and I could hardly lift K and couldn't really do much at work. Went to the Doc and he reckons I've strained the muscle group down that right side and signed me off work for a fortnight. I've only been back for 4 weeks! He says if I don't rest it it'll hang about for ages as I keep agrivating it.

Obviously news went down like a bag of !!!!! at work Feel my coatpeg is slightly shakier now than it was before if thats even possible :eek:

Have had a brief scout about for jobs and theres not much PT for what I do. I only live 3 miles from work at the mo, would people travel 25-30 miles for work? Is that a lot for potentially a 5/6 hr shift? Have seen something I fancy applying for but OH reckons its a bit too far. Still its a foot in the door as they say.....

ETA: not a chuffing wink of sleep either here last night! Poor wee lad was crying for his dummy but his mouth was too sore to sook it! Think that 5th tooth has peirced the gum now but he'll not let me get a good swatch at it!

Morning ladies.

My poorly baby continues to be poorly (v v v runny bummy) but cheerful so he has gone to the CM with instructions to call me if he seems unwell. It must be his teeth because he is fine but refusing to eat and his bum is SO sore.

He insisted on taking his water cup in the car this morning though so at least I know he won't let himself dehydrate.


Scruff - what a shock. Hope your cousin and kids are okay.

Aw - poor Liv. Call A&E before you go and ask what the queues are like. Whilst she should be seen you would be better making her comfortable at home for the morning than sitting in the waiting room if they are packed.

csh - Sorry your having work issues. I would say the commute would be do-able for a full days work, but not for just a couple of hours, and only if the job was worth it. How long would it take you to travel that far?

Hope the non-sleeping babies let the Mummies have naps today and any poorly babies get better soon.

Liam is more or less back to his usual self - a few more cuddles than normal, but when I dropped him off at Mum's house this morning he promptly arched his back to get off her knee and get to the toys

it would take about 30 mins. Its 18 hrs a week so potentially 3x6hr shifts or therabouts?

Oh, 30 mins either way doesn't seem too bad, I had it in my head it would longer I get the train at 8 to be in work for 9 (I actually leave home at 7:30 to drop Liam off first) and arrive home at 5:15 from finishing work at 4:30 and that's getting the train to Manchester which is less than 10 miles away.
