Sami, I'm in need of a steady calm head, Erin just tried her dress on and I could only get the zip done up if she stood straight without slouching her shoulders, I'm panicing it won't fit in 5 weeks time, not the sellers fault as they did it exactly to my measurements but I didn't add anything as I thought she wouldn't grow that quick. Are they supposed to fit like that, or should I consider taking to a seamstress to have some lacing put in in place of the zip? Omg, I feel sick.

I've not heard anything today Jillie, I tend to take no news as good news. Yesterday he was off his ventilator still and doing really well, I'm going up to the hospital tomorrow to take my manual pump in.

Off to see OH, he's making tea and I'm hearing strange noises from the kitchen!

And I think the swimming costume is hilarious, I could not do that to my daughter. :rotfl:

I have been sick, :( where did all this stress come from, I can usually handle any kind of carp! Anyone for a drink, OH's birthday today and the babysitter just cancelled so our meal out is off and there's nothing for dinner. :o

Hugs Tara, it doesn't really matter if the dress fits etc. as long as everyone you want is there. As for OH's birthday maybe you could get few quiet minutes in the bedroom?

Tara, lacing might take the stress off you a bit - but a little cardigan is far more :money:

I wore one when I burst the zipper of a top right before my cousin's wedding and nobody noticed.

Why not order in a takeaway for everyone and some dessert for you and OH for later when the kids are in bed?

Edit: FB people, I am desperate to play Lexulous after Bruno kicked my butt earlier on. Anyone?

My dignity couldn't stand playing you SS and I wouldn't even consider playing Bruno, I'm a scientist, English was my worst subject.

Jenny, I've lost far more games than I've won, the tiles hate me. I had no vowels for a few of my moves against Bruno

  • Evening all.

I got through my day. Haven't told any of the companies that I work with that I won't be there for long because I want to tell my assistant first (she is on hols atm).

Hubby has taken my news particularly hard. If I have a spell without a job he would have to consider winding his company up and putting his 8 employees out of work. At the moment hubby doesn't contribute to household expenses other than 'treat' money as and when the company has surplus.

Benjamin is poorly, has hardly eaten and has a really runny bottom. He wouldn't take his bottle this evening (took a few sips and started wretching) so I am expecting a broken night.

However - in cuteness of the day...

:A I was woken this morning at 4am () by Benjamin singing 'moooooommmmmmeeeeeee, mmmmmoooooommmmmeeee' Very cute!!

:AHubby has taught Benjamin to rub noses - hubby said to B tonight 'rub noses with mummy' and Benjamin came to me, grabbed hold of either side of my head and leaned in to rub his nose against mine :A My heart soared!!!

    Hope everyone is well xx
