Hiya!
I have had a fantastic day with my babba and the lovely MSE ladies.
Apologies again for forgetting to bring my bag of goodiesI am happy to say that I called home to pick up the Seahorse before dropping Krystal back so at least that is one fairy item dispatched.
SM and Glam - can you PM me your addresses and I will post on your goodies.
Benjamin and I really enjoyed the play centre - although chasing around after my babba kept me too busy to chat too much to you lovely ladies.
After dropping Krystal off we popped to Ikea where Benjamin chose some new cushions for us by laying his head on various options and rejecting the ones he didn't like :rotfl::rotfl:
Then a quick whizz around Tesco (to confirm that they are not selling Goodnight milk on BOGOF) where Benjamin was very noisy and very cute demanding kisses all the way around :A
Hubbys scan went okay (thanks for reminding me 3) he gets the results on 9th June. He said it was scary but he was fine
...just catching up...got-it-spend-it wrote: »Oh my, I totally can't believe I missed an opportunity to promote Sophie! Far and away the best teething toy ever made. Should I also mention the Antilop highchair at this point too? Probably two of the best recommendations I have received on this thread.
You're welcome!boogellyboo wrote: »Definately recommend antilop! I love that I can plonk it in the shower to get weetabix off it  MFD isn't here too so we should, I think it was MFD who pointed me in Sophie's direction too.
You are welcome too
How exciting about all the Sophie products - I demand PICCIES!!!
* pension scheme going to salary sacrifice (small cash gain, loss of flexibility) - accept or opt out
* company healthcare scheme - opt out, single or family cover (gain a grand a year, £600 a year, or nothing)
I can only share my thoughts on private healthcare. I have just lost my company health cover and hubby and I were weighing up the options:
NHS care is much improved these days - both hubby and I have had tests done within weeks of going to the docs with problems in the last 6 months.
Private healthcare often doesn't cover loads of things such as existing conditions, routine conditions such as maternity care and alternative therapies unless you can wangle a referral from your GP.
There are options to 'upgrade' NHS care if you feel the need.

ETA One of the technicians at my old work is PG so the (ex) boss has asked if I'll cover her maternity from Nov ish time. Told him I may well be interested and to let me know as and when. He said he'd do his damnedest to make it worth my while so who knows...hope you ladies didn't spit too hard at the place lol
I had a look but was too busy honking my horn at the hot momma's with buggy's on the corner
Why do your photos look so much better than mine?workinmummy wrote: »Seriously now! Who pointed a camera in my direction? I hate having photos taken, not photogenic in anyway.
That is a lovely photo of you and Jack Glam. You just need to cut me off the side.
Everyone was very nice, and babies well behaved. Am so wanting an Antilope now, instead of the stupid wooden one OH bought. Alex hates it, but was very happy in the Ikea one.
Oh yes and Sarah Joanne was wearing some lovely shoes. But sadly i would break my neck wearing them :rotfl:
I am very much hoping that Alex was taking notes of all the sitting, crawling, standing babies. He zonked out in the car, but woke in time to go see daddy at work, and charm all the ladies that daddy works with.
Sorry, haven't read back, will catch up tomorrow in work. Time to watch Strike Back.
Ooo - I noticed SJ's shoes too!! Very lovely!
Antilops are the future!!
Alex was such a good boy! So calm and quiet but the second I caught his eye he gave me the biggest smiles!!!! Gorgeous!
There is a photo where he looks to be sitting unaided.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
