Looks like a fun day was had
I got Keira's report card today, was very pleased, everything positive, she apparently speaks very clearly and has an extensive vocabulary *I KNEW DOUCHE WAS A GOOD WORD!!* Hehe kidding about that. In the additional comment bit the teacher wrote "Keira is very popular with the boys and girls in nursery, and we look forward to seeing which sparkly shoes she has on everyday"
She is now telling me that she has to get some new sparklys......*rolls eye*
I am pleased they wrote about her speaking though because for a long time, she never spoke very clear, and obviously some of her words are still juvenile but it's put my mind to rest that she is a good talker at any rate
Well done Keira :jHere I go again on my own....0 -
Aww boo how worrying for you all. That happened to a friend of mine and she spent three months on her back in the hospital - baby's fine though and the worst that happened was Mummy got a massive wrinkle in her neck from looking downwards to talk to peopleOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Just catching up:has anyone tried having the little ikea spice holders that stick to a magnetic board/strip on your kitchen wall?
has anyone's little one had a haemangioma (strawberry mark) and did anyone have any treatment to stop it growing, like a cauterisation?
Thanks for any thoughts
Liam has one by the side of his eye
(Shameless post from todays meet)
It was noted at his 6 week check and I was told they usually fall off before 5 yrs old. I was told to take him back if it ever started to bleed, but no mention of it being removed.
Maz - thanksfor the nappy info. I looked in the local Asda and they didn't have the bra in your size

Hi everyone
Thanks so much for the replies about what to use in baby's bed. Have now got sheets and things!
Here's another questions for you all......at the moment it is taking me about two hours to do the bedtime routine; i.e. bath, clothes, breast feed, story and cuddle. Only thing is that as soon as I put baby in his bed he screams, although I know that he is tired; i.e. yawning, closing eyes; etc. I have tried leaving him to scream/offer more booby as comfort/talk to him but nothing seems to work. Every day I seem to have to rock him to sleep which I don't mind but I would like to do something in the evening before going to bed! I haven't been out for months!
Does anyone have any suggestions?
ThanksBaby Bump born 4th March 2010! :kisses:

Evenin all
Thanks for today, it was lovely to meet/see again all the ladies and babies. It's funny, last time most of us were getting out bottles and boobs and this time they were (nearly) all sitting in high chairs! Tempus fugit!
Lovely pics so far. I didn't get many pics cos I only had mum's camera with half dead batteries as OH has ours in Cornwall. Can I share 2 of the 5 I have?
Oh how vain  This is what Glam was referring to!
Hope everyone got home safe.
Hugs to all, especially Mr SS and Tigs and family xxx
Sorry - big post!
ETA One of the technicians at my old work is PG so the (ex) boss has asked if I'll cover her maternity from Nov ish time. Told him I may well be interested and to let me know as and when. He said he'd do his damnedest to make it worth my while so who knows...hope you ladies didn't spit too hard at the place lolMy baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0 -

Hi Krystal
Nice to put a face to the name now! No, I'm not on facebook but OH is. I keep meaning to set myself up (or even learn how to use his account) just to look at all the pics from on here. I did have an account once but kept getting messages from old friends I couldn't be doing with so I did my anti-social thing and deleted it :-(
Miserable me :-)
I do know his log in but I wouldn't have the first clue what I was doing with it...My baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0 -
