FWIW - from reading on here I don't think many people find that weaning makes a non-sleeping baby sleep better. I think we all have it in our heads a little that the more they eat the better they sleep but I don't think that always comes out in the wash.
You're definitely right there - Seth slept through for 10 weeks before he started eating, and then the very night after he ate for the first time he started waking again, and its still very rare he fully sleeps through! (I just died a little inside, cos writing that made me realise its been nearly two years since I last had a proper decent nights sleep!!)

    Hi!

Hello MFD! Seth is snotty and grumpy, and so is his daddy, joy of joys in this house! How are your men? I never saw what happened with your OH, I assume he was OK and didnt have the odd and random disease of which I forget the name?

Night all. I'm taking myself off to bed before I end up having to get up again. Seeing as she went to bed without any tea there is no way I'm going to get a sensible amount of sleep unless I go now (maybe not even then, I probably should have gone to bed when she did!).

Enjoy the rest of your evenings, and sleep better than normal (lets keep things realistic in here ;0) ).

Aw - we are all snotty and grumpy and coughing here too :(

Hubby is okay, they said it was something 'viral' and he is going for a brain scan on Wed to rule out anything sinister but we are reasonably positive it will come back clear.

sorry to but in but could i ask some advice about a buggy

We are going to disneyland Paris :T:T:T:Tnot that i am excited:p
I have a DS who is at the awkward age 3. Thinks he is too big for his buggy but by 3 pm is flagging for a nap. Did think about hiring when we are there but it is 9E a day and we are there for 5 days so will be 45E=£45 (almost)

What I want is a very very small buggy. I have a great buggy which is fine in my car but fills the boot of my peugeot 206 (which we will be taking) so won't have much space for case (and shopping:o)

Which do you think is the smallest and where are the best priced ones?

Am not apposed to a second hand one if i knew which is best eg is the quinny zapp too small for a 3 yr old?

    Thanks guys

well had tea, am  with 'OH' (and other half is not how i would describe him at the mo!! more like kh!!) we had an argument earlier and he scraped his tea straight into the bin, i am fuming!! i went to the effort of peeling potatoes and went out for the pies, the kids could have had it for their lunch tomorrow if he didnt want it, <insert lots of ranty swearwords!!!>

....anyway hope everyones having a better sunday than me!!

beenie what can you do about a flat tyre? will you have to get a new tyre thing? how annoying!!

    x

I think I would be tempted to get it out of the bin and serve him it for dinner tomorrow;)

My OH talks like Peter Kay, hes from Rochdale

MFD - totally agree about the age limits - I think I weaned Roo at 20 weeks because she seemed ready although DD1 was weaned at 12 weeks:eek: cos that was the guidelines 16 years ago and shes fine. Really struggling to get Roo to eat much at the minute so just giving her as much high cal foods as I can ( you can see her ribs and backbone) but she has so much energy she never sits still

What about a maclaren? think they can be picked up quite cheaply 2nd hand, they fold quite small, or i think theres quite a few umbrella folds on mothercare quite cheap if you're not bothered about hood n footmuffs and what not lol! i'll have a quick google see if i can find the smallest folding pram! x
