Gorgeous pic, Jenny. Erin looks so grown-up.

Happy Birthday Joe! Just looking at your FB pictures, 3, and you do produce gorgeous children.

Early start here as we were up at 6. We did manage to avoid all the evening up and down silliness which was lovely. Fingers crossed this the start of going back to normal on that front.

Yay for your friend Elle. Hope she makes a good recovery now she is back home.

Hmmm, pondering whether to go to carboot as we're up so early (EA- your FB status totally made me think of that). Might get some bargains.......

I haven't bought the material yet but when I do if it just falls straight off with that hemming tape I will be straight round with a duster.......although I actually have no idea how to use a sewing machine, but i'm sure I could be taught;)

i used the hemminmg tape and its stayed brilliant. just followed the instructions a little more careful than usual (leaving to properly cool ) made them at the end of march. i used the hemming stuff to fold over at the top and have used curtain wire to hang them up (like net curtains). and they are still hanging.

Another busy day ahead here. Must get my uni essay finished and I've got masses of ironing and tidying up to do. So tired at the moment and really want to do nothing all day :o

"They" have had all sorts of frankly offensive theories about autism and its causes, mostly of the sort to make mothers feel dreadful. But while there's no single gene that causes autism, They see familial clusters and think there's probably a sequence or set of genes that are involved.

Very complex, extremely interesting and They are hopeful to one day have an answer.

That makes sense to me SS.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes - i feel really odd that i'm the mum of a teenager! Mentally i'm not old enough! :o

He seems to like his new room, he's spent most of his time in there since he got back on Friday. Or maybe that's just him being a teenager.

We're expecting visitors to pop in through the day, and if it brightens up we'll go out later for a walk and an ice cream at our famous ice cream shop. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2336892711&v=wall

Moooooooorning! Freaky, we're going to the car boot sale too! Must be the day for bargains :D. Strict £5 limit per person being enforced though - we're only going for entertainment purposes. It doesn't start until 11 (odd, but am not complaining) so just being lazy until it's time to go. I hope there's baby stuff.

Jenny, love the piccie. Is that somewhere near your house? Or the playground at the bottom of the Common? Finn is prolly still a little young for baby swings, but soon! (perfect for summer)

MFD, hope your head feels better!

Happy Birthday to 3's new teenager!

Fab night for us - no wakeups other than the usual 1 feed. HURRAH!
