Yes, this is always the problem!! Which is why DH gets p!ssy that I don't spend enough "time" with him...but he doesn't understand that the time he is home coincides with the time that Finn is asleep so is hard to balance baby-free time with hubby-home time.

Am going now though...will catch up at 2am :p so people better post so I have stuff to read. ;)

Hiya!! This is a special 2am post for you!! I had to spell it out for my hubby...'Life with a baby is tough, looking after a baby, as much as I love it, is bloody hard work, when you come in from work (I don't care if you want to 'wind down') your responsibility is to look after babba and give me space...if you give me 20 mins of 'me time' (even if I am cooking or whatever) then I can be normal and put babba to bed and you may get to have a little of your wife back tonight...

...and if you don't then I will be a wreck within a week....
Mmmmm, all this talk of wine is making me want a glass.

I am in sole charge tonight though as OH is at work so no wine for me. I am off to bed though. If I stay up any longer I am at serious risk of finishing off the cheesecake that is in the fridge and calling my name.

    A glass or 2 won't harm...she said...having had a few glasses herself.
    Hi to Beenie and everyone

"high way to the danger zone" That was my tremendous singing. Top Gun. E4+1. Young Tom Cruise, before he went all weird.

My not SIL has just done my head. Was on chat on facebook and she would rather watch Lee Evans than Tom cruise. She is so not a child of the 80's.

Ooooh "She's lost that lovin feeling", coming up........

LOL - you just made me giggle!! I am looking forward to meeting you on Wed... are we FB friends? I am ashamed to say I don't know your real name (although I always try to keep up with you on here and would consider you a friend!!!) :o:o:o

    hi everyone,

    loving the pics.

cute story from me if i may - when i am changing LO's nappy, i have some special powder that prevents/helps nappy rash etc. i have been using it lately. when i am finished with it, LO takes it off me and then moves it down to her nappy and tries to put it on herself

going to have a read back and see what's been happening

OMG what is this special powder? Benjamin's bum is to the point of little bits of bleeding now :( I have never known it so sore. Hubby and I had a big 'debate' about whether I should take him in the bath tonight but I was so worried that he was dirty - I have been trying to clean him with a flannel and water, wipes make him sob - that I had to try. Luckily he was fine in the water but I feel so sorry for him, I was crying as I wiped his bottom with the flannel this afternoon :(

Ah well that totally negates all my ramble LOL. Our leader said no jeans, but i don't know what he said about shoes. I do listen honest

That reminds me, DS school shoes no longer have a sole so i better go to Tesco tomorrow. Of all the shoes i've tried with him, they seem to take longest to be destroyed.

Oh...I don't know then! If he is wearing joggers then trainers would be the natural footwear, wouldn't they?

Like I say ours is pretty relaxed.

    xx

I am another Claire and my last name begins with M. When you run to facebook, my avvy has a black and white picture of Joe when he was younger and not much of me on it. :D
