any news??'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Beenie - you saying I talk too much? :rotfl: I think it's more due to lack of presence from those who USUALLY post rather than increase on our parts. Though I would like to be in the Top 10...I do read religiously, just don't always feel chatty
.
Very good point about SM(not that i'm implying she ever talks too much  :rotfl:)
I always read too, and am sometimes surprised to find i haven't posted for a day or so cos i feel like i've been well involved with all the conversations. :rotfl:
Speaking of lurkers...

Mmmmm, all this talk of wine is making me want a glass.
I am in sole charge tonight though as OH is at work so no wine for me. I am off to bed though. If I stay up any longer I am at serious risk of finishing off the cheesecake that is in the fridge and calling my name.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Hi to Beenie and everyone
"high way to the danger zone" That was my tremendous singing. Top Gun. E4+1. Young Tom Cruise, before he went all weird.
My not SIL has just done my head. Was on chat on facebook and she would rather watch Lee Evans than Tom cruise. She is so not a child of the 80's.
Ooooh "She's lost that lovin feeling", coming up........0 -
Hi Jillie, if there is news i can't remember anything. :rotfl: I wish i could change my username to RemembersNothing.
WM hilol "not SIL". I'd rather watch Lee Evans too

Mel if you're around..
I remember you saying your boy(s) go to Beavers, what kind of shoes do they wear?
We've got the turquiose sweater sorted, the leader found us an almost new one for £7?
Am looking at the online scout shop and i'm so confused by the sizing. DS has a school jumper that says size 26 but he could do with a 28. But on the scout site it says "Please note Size Guide Shows *Actual Garment measurement not actual chest measurement for this itemso i'm confused about what size he'd need if i was to get a polo shirt. Did you buy the proper activity trousers for yours? They're £15  Leaer said we don't really need them but i'd feel better if he did. Do you have any suggestions for suitable alternatives? He's been wearing some Asda navy £2 joggers til now.
Wow that was a waffle and a half, sorry lol!!
edit - and if you ever did read this waffle, what do you think of these? link
DS2(7) goes to beavers. I just send him in jeans and his school shoes, he does have the sweatshirt/necktie/woggle thing, it is very informal and his group leader just said anything will do! I'm sure they will let me know if they want him in anything particular....Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Ah well that totally negates all my ramble LOL. Our leader said no jeans, but i don't know what he said about shoes. I do listen honest
That reminds me, DS school shoes no longer have a sole so i better go to Tesco tomorrow. Of all the shoes i've tried with him, they seem to take longest to be destroyed.0 -
hi everyone,
loving the pics.
cute story from me if i may - when i am changing LO's nappy, i have some special powder that prevents/helps nappy rash etc. i have been using it lately. when i am finished with it, LO takes it off me and then moves it down to her nappy and tries to put it on herself
going to have a read back and see what's been happening0 -
