one of my first memories is when we lived in a caravan whilst Dad built our house
I was on my little tricycle and I peddled right out the open door :o :rotfl:

i know you are right :D just having a funny five minutes. although i think she is the naughtiest. she is going to through a stage of standing on her toys. when i tell her to get off she then just goes and stands on another and looks straight at me smiling!!

LOL - the CM and I were having this conversation tonight!! And how he does puppy dog eyes when you tell him no!!! We had full on tantrums today because I wouldn't let him touch the oven (it wasn't on!!) and he threw himself around like I had electrocuted him!! Drama queen :rotfl:

i dont know. i need to make a decision. either accept i have said my piece and get over it, or completely have a change and move on somewhere else

Or keep your options open and look around, tart your CV around for a bit and see what comes of it. :D

    Fitzio - I left school in 1993.

My DH can remember the 1970s! He was 13 the year I was born. It makes him feel really old when there's stuff he remembers and I reply I wasn't even born.

Kindof - thinking of your friend xx

Before we abandon reminisces of the past I will admit to being completely freaked out that people born in 1980 are turning 30 this year! I remember stuff in 1980
never mind those, what about Beenie, SM, Natalie (?) and I, we're all 25 this year waahh :(

What do you remember of 1985?
    :p

  • Evening all. Has everyone had a good Thursday?

Will be back in a tick (just putting my tea out... this is too late for me to be sitting down to eat damnit!) but I just wanted to say - MFD - I'm quite happy to not turn 30 just yet if that makes you feel any better ;) (My birthday is coming up soon!)

Really? Your avvy looks much older :rotfl::rotfl:

In 1989 I was at secondary school, and in that year hubby was working in my town (we lived 45+ miles apart) and picking up a bloke who lived opposite my school  the thought that we might have 'seen' each other is simultaneously exciting (like fate) and slightly disturbing :o

Oh, we're on memories are we? I remembre waking up with conjuctivitis and not being able to open my eyes, and trying to find my way to my parents room to tell them. My parents reackon I was about 18 months when that happened, but I suspect they may be wrong.

I also remember my mum trying tio clean bruises off me in the bath thinking they were mud (and making a huge fuss!) no idea when that was though.

The earliest memory I definitly know when it was was staying with my auntie and uncle when my brother was being born. I remember being in the bath with my cousin, and making a fuss because my uncle washed my hair.

I don't know whe all my mempries are bath related?

    Not mean.....

...but if it were me I would question the value of taking toys away? Unless she was causing danger with them she won't have a clue why you did it :o

    Sorry :o
