    Evening all..

Sorry, caught up earlier then went for a three hour sleep and forgot it all! :o
.. My DH can remember the 1970s! He was 13 the year I was born. It makes him feel really old when there's stuff he remembers and I reply I wasn't even born.

    I do that, frequently :p

Had some bad news today in that one of my best friend's who's on a six month round the world trip was taken seriously ill in Peru :( Air ambulance jobbie to get her to somewhere with better facilites, the works. She's finally been given the okay to fly home (although not completely well again yet) and will land at Heathrow on Sunday night. Will be so fab to see her but obviously she's gutted at missing the rest of her trip

Work was good today.. I no longer work in HR! :j:j Woohoo! :D:p

Rhys had fun at Boogie Babies with mum but didn't want to nap at his usual time tonight. I went to lie down with him on the bed and I think I fell asleep before he did! He's still sparko now though so clearly needed an early night. Not sure he'll manage any tea, just have milk, but he did have a big proper meal at lunch so am sure it won't harm him too much. Mega blood test tomorrow.. not looking forward to that one bit :(

    Hope everyone is okay xx

Sorry to keep ranting on about Asda but...

I'm planning to ring in the morning and ask them to re-apply the code (assuming the order i put in at 9:59pm is coming in the morning, i got an email to say so?)

If they don't, can i refuse delivery when the guy comes? The slot is 10am-12 and lines open at 8!!

AF - Keira never spoke much until well after 2 though her first word was "aye" at 10months. Her sentences and words were pretty dire up until she was about 3 and a half (I blame the dummy for that though). She's now 4 and doesn't shurrup  :p

Her fave word is "I know, but.....BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH EXCUSE"

Oh, we're on memories are we? I remembre waking up with conjuctivitis and not being able to open my eyes, and trying to find my way to my parents room to tell them. My parents reackon I was about 18 months when that happened, but I suspect they may be wrong.

It's entirely possible they're right - my first memory is dateable to 18 months (less three days :))

Husband is chatting away to me about economics and Greece and I'm wondering how long I can get away without listening and him not noticing that I'm not listening. It's a challenge...

AF El never started speaking til she was 2. She had words that only I could understand IYGWIM. She is now nearly 2 1/2 and still not properly speaking but I have no worries as she understands every word you say to her.
