FBB - I have a Loola Up and so does Caz. I think it's really good actually. I bought it after looking at loads of prams and the main thing for me was that it folds really easily in seconds. I think they have a good reputation. The basket isn't massive but that's a sacrifice you make for it being umbrella folding I think. If you were going to be walking over all terrain bumpy ground, I would probably go for something with pneumatic wheels, but if not then I think the Loola is pretty good and it's not that dear if you aren't buying the pram carry cot etc. It's definitely comfortable and cosy. Oh, and Holly sleeps in it when it's not lying flat. If I lay it flat, it wakes her up. And I don't think there is anything wrong with a baby sleeping upright in their pushchair for short periods when out and about!!!

Well, I went into work yesterday and spoke to my new boss, so I definitely have a new job. He is happy for me to come and go as I please as long as my 28 hours are covered (although I can do less and more the following week etc as on flexi time). Any meetings etc, they will work around me, even though I insisted that I am flexible and can come in whenever they need me. Soooo, result!! Just need to sort out childminder now. Also I mentioned about being involved in the recruitment of the staff I will have under me, so he agreed I could come in and work KIT days to interview for them!

Although there is another job in the dept on a higher grade so going to apply for that anyway.

Yey your job sounds excellent Fitzio!! Excellent!! Thank you for your thoughts on the Loola, sounds like it would be good for me too, so is now in the running, lol!! I am gonna phone a shop in Salisbury who are stockists of the Oyster apparently and see if they happen to have the Loola and the Joolz too, as I would like to try them all before I decide really. No I totally agree, T almost seems to prefer not being flat when out and about, the zapp was just too upright though, pity it doesnt have one more option but nevermind.

If he was a girl he'd be wearing something along these lines.....

No wonder your DD is a wee rebel if you made her wear dresses like that!! :rotfl:

Very very girly! Ok, I think that's quite smart so will keep an eye out for you.

Right, must wake Holly now or we will be late. x

Oh yes and wait until you get to this stage.

Bending over to try and have a look at your bits while you are on the loo.

"Mummy were does your wee coming from, Your bum?"

"You wee and poo from your bum?" said in a most incredulous way.

Yes love that's what girls do, because you just can't bring yourself to explain the difference.

And god forbid they walk in on your when you are attempting sanitary protection :eek:

I keep my tampons in a little leather case in the bathroom. A few months ago I had left it by the side of the sink (not thinking!) and DSS had a look inside. Then he asked hubby what they were. Hubby said 'oh they are MFDs, like cotton wool things' and DSS said 'oh - it is because she wears contact lenses, she needs them to keep her eyes nice and clean' so Hubby said 'yes son, that's right' :rotfl::rotfl:

    He is 10!

:rotfl: at tampons to keep your eyes clean MFD.

Keira knows what tampons are. She knows that mummys sometimes get blood out of their foofs and that's to stop it going on your pants.

Am I bad for letting her know and see these things? I have no privacy in this house, so I might aswell explain it to her! I remember when she was about 2, she took one out the bathroom and came into the living room and was trying to poke it up her bum.....dearie me.....
