sorry have been lurking all day but in a bit of a funk (prolly mostly lack of sleep :o) so not posting much. But caz, sounds really promising for Charlie, fab. Glam, sorry the boys ruined your evening.

I always enjoy finding the scariest thing in the 99p store. I think today's was definitely hair dye. Eeeek, I'd be too scared of it turning out green!

    Evening,

    Hugs all round.
Krystal - congratulations on the win, I hope your nephew enjoys the break

    Sorry can't remember much else.

HUGE thank you to Jillie for suggesting O2 - my phone is on its way to me.

I pushed DH out of the door to vote before 8am this morning - our polling station is a 2 minute walk up the road - as he is working until 10pm tonight. I voted on my way home from work.

No more eye drops after tonight so fingers crossed they stay healthy.

Shift work - DH loves the time he gets to spend with Katie working shifts, he does 3 x 6am-2pm, 2 x 2pm-10pm 1 x 2pm-12am.

DH loves it as it means he finishes work on 3rd June and isn't back until the 17th June for our week in Devon!

Why is it so cold? I'm about this close > < to putting the heating up... It's MAY!!
I already have. When it was hot I set it so it would only come on if it was below 15 and then when it started coming on I switched it back to the regular programme.

Mine is usually on permanently and set to just pop on if it drops too low as well but in the summer I tend to turn the thermostat right down... Might have to turn it back up at this rate... I dread my gas bill... :o

Actually, I think I might have gone onto paperless billing but can't remember... One of these days a huge direct debit will come out to cover it and I'll have no idea because I haven't had a bill for 6 months!

Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

MDW I've just been on Waterstones website and as Katie likes the Gruffalo I thought you might be interested to know that this is on:
    WATERSTONE'S TRAFFORD CENTRE

Love the Gruffalo? So do we! Today we're reading the enchanting tale of the Gruffalo and Little Mouse, and having scribbly colouring fun after the story!

    Hi All

Had one of "those" days at work today where if it were legal I would have got my machine gun out and let rip  does anyone else have those days or is it just me? I was very tempted to ship SS over and arrange for her to either set fire to people or turn them into shoes :rotfl:

Dora - thank you Katie would love that but she's been invited to a birthday party at 2pm - I'll keep my eye out if it happens elsewhere.

I've had one of those days every day this week, would SS fancy turning a few more people into shoes?

I have those days all of the time Dora. People just annoy me. :o

OOh, we've got a big BBC news crew/van outside our house. I think they use the building over the road for vote counting. IIRC there were cars coming and going all night after the last election.

If anyone has a spare minute, (Except Krystal who can't get off her moral high horse! :p) would they mind voting for J, L & V's Nanny here: http://apps.facebook.com/shreddiesnanas/nana/1556/?ref=mf
Also if you have a promo box of shreddies in the kitchen, there is a code inside for 50 bonus votes.

    (You can vote every day!)
