hellos and hugs and all that to y'all!

loving this new night time formula bottle routine - watching the evening news for the first time in months while dp does the feed! not that there is much on the news other than politics - pleased I don't live in Greece.

highligth of my day - another plumber blokey round to quote for the replacement of our antiquated heating and plumbing system - hopefully this one will be able to do it, getting to the point that I really don't give a stuff what they charge as long as they can do what we need them to do, once thats done we can crack on with everything else.

bargain of the day - silly superdrug had 200ml baby sun block on the 2 for 1 price stand of 100ml so got loads for £4.97 (:money: if a little bit sneaky) and Tom's ebay £3.53 inc p&p swim nappy shorts arrived - so thats his hols sorted for not much. now just need to psyche myself up for flying ryanair with a baby on my own - a friend popped round earlier and in among chatting she mentioned about a trip to visit family and how her journey was a mare.

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Had a quick catch up, big yay to GISI about donating ur expressed milk :)

Had the antenatal girls round today (we take it in turns to host each fortnight) which was nice, I bought some gorge Thorntons mini caramel flapjacks dipped in choc... mmm they were divine!! I have decided from tomorrow I am going to really try to get Toby to settle for his nap on his own in his cot, without rocking. As this morning I resorted to rocking him in his car seat to get him off and know that I should get out of this habit!! Usually it times in with my walk down town which also sends him off to sleep, but obvs this is no good when Im not going out. Ill let u know how I get on!!

    xx

    The monster sleeps!

Now I can put the picture frame back on the wall. We have a big picture frame with lots of baby photos in it, and Izzy kept climbing on the furniture to get at it this morning, shouting "baby, baby, baby". So I to keep her safe I had to take it down to floor level for her to look at there. She was chatting to the babies all day, everso cute! I wonder how long it will be before she believes they are all pictures of her!

    Aww bless her!

We have baby/school pics on the wall as you go up/down the stairs so every morning/night we go down the stairs slowly so V can point and shout 'oo dat?' at each photo, then I tell her who it is then she says 'hiya' to them all. It takes us a good 10 minutes to get downstairs. :(

I've gone for the Samsung Monte.

I have My Pictures set as my screen saver so if I want Katie to sit still for a bit, I put that up on screen and she's happy.

She's at the stage of trying to name everyone in the pictures too.

Today I smeared a big layer of bepanthen on Seth's bum and he was all red in him bum crack, so I squirted a line down it with the tube. I then leant over him to take the nappy he was playing with to wrap round his bum when he farted in my face and sprayed bepanthen all over my hair. It smelled and I am traumatised. That is all.

Thanks for all the rubella info :)

Ita annoying as i've had the jab a few times in my 21 years and the last one when i was 18. And its worn off already ¬¬

I didn't get it anyway, it wasn't mentioned and i forgot to mention it. But i told the gp we are TTC and he was really ok with it. I thought he would tell me all the bad things about ttc so soon. But he is doing a FBC for me and said to take my iron/folic acid tablets :)

is it the injection you dont like or what the vaccine is made up of? are you letting lily have her jabs?

The injection, they reallly hurt :o

Yeah Lily had hers today. She cried. I laughed :o:rotfl:
OH looked a bit distressed as the needle was almost the width of her thigh!

On the 2nd jab on her other leg, she didn't seem to register she had been stabbed a second time, it took a few seconds of confusion then she screamed. So i gave her a cuddle :)

She soon got over it though and has been smiley all evening except for a few tears.

Sorry for going on but it really bugs me when people just look at the fee paid for the actual party and assume it's easy money :o

No its ok, i totally understand what you mean :)

Some of them quoted me £500 though  and also told me not to touch the £140 guy! But i did and the reception venue recommened him anyway :)

Quick cheeky pic of Lily being all smiley and lovely :D
