She was threatening to, i was due on the 12th but she waited til 21st lol! They were gonna make me go in for induction of Boxing day, so i was beside myself until she came!! Had a home birth in the end which with all the snow was lovely!! Not for the midwife though :rotfl:
Can you buy rear facing for bigger than stage 0? I know Susan supports it too, just didn't know much about it myself. Her blog led me to some sites which basically proved it's much safer to be rear facing, so why don't we do it in this country?
I read back twice to see what you'd saidI was scanning earlier though and thought SS was you for a sec!!
I have worked out it was 3 that Jillie has confused me with! How can you confuse me with SS? It must be the Holly/Molly thing. It can't be my vocabulary!
I have just emptied my cupboard full of tupperware because I can't find a lid for a soup container. OMG!!! How much tupperware does one person need? And I can never find the right shape or a lid for anything! Sorting out kitchen cupboards are on my to do list (and have been for the past 4 months!!)
A girl I was at school with had a baby the other day, 2lbs 3oz. She has just posted photos on FB. She is teensy weensy! But the weird thing is I can totally see that she looks like her mum. I am usually rubbish in seeing who babies look like. Maybe it's because she is so small that her features look more prominent?0 -
No i wasn't even really reading i was skimming through but your avatars are different so i don't know why
People need to stop changing their avatars so often!! I can only rely on Aless nowadays :rotfl:
I do like the babba pics though :A
I am the same not seeing the features in babies, although with some there's just no mistaking it. How early was she?0 -
..
I put Erin in a stage 0 car seat a few days ago as she was into everything and it was the first thing to hand lol! she wasnt all that big in it either and she is now 15months!
HI newbies!!!0 -
Will do!
Why does everything you do turn into some kind of Benny Hill sketch with music in my head? :rotfl:
* picturing large sweaty bald German man shaking his head at a mattress complete with fast motion running up and down stairs with a baby in tow*
I don't know but I often feel the same way. It's only like this because of Husband, he's one of those people who stuff goes wrong for and I'm not, but his tendencies to have stuff go comedically wrong far outweigh my too-cool-for-school bit *rolleyes*
Welcome new ladies, I think so long as they have wet and dry nappies they're ok - they change so fast it's hard to rely on anything they do as normal. But if you're worried ask the HV and if he goes floppy or lethargic whip him off to A&E?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

What 4 year old would sit in the car staring at the seats
Em - If it helps when Idris got offered the job he was in now, it was a trainee salary which was slightly higher than what he was on but he had to fork out on travel etc now too - longer hours - etc, at the council they kinda fiddled his bonus thing, so he got a bit more per week (immoral oh well) but they all did it, if he had no bonus, his take home was about £190 a week. With bonus, about £222 -230. Anyways, so he got that job and in 2/3 years, he has went from 16.5k a year, to a 26k. So quite a jump! (though feels like we have less lol)
Plus tax credits work on the year before so that shouldn't go down for at least a year?!0 -

Nope that's mine!!
Beenie, i rely on ur avatar too. We're the 2 weirdos without babies on ours!
