I agree Krystal. Kids catch and spread around everything going and there was a fair few folk on here ill at the same time, 3's lot for example.
The deep clean just says to me thats TT being responsible after EH raised possible concerns??
TT carried out the clean after recieving reports that children were becoming ill, this was before EH had been informed! I have emailed them stating my concerns and will leave it at that. I dont think an apology is too much to ask for? Im not looking for any grand gestures but the fact i had 5 children ill and 1 put into hospital makes me angry that they can cover things up and come out smelling of roses!

Using the living area is outrageous IMO.

Pigpen, til the youngest is 10? So you have to have a 3 year old girl sharing with a 16 year old boy?

I'm sure they said it was when DS is 11, although i saw that on the LHA site so dunno, none of the housing staff know, i keep asking! I've been told 8, 10, 11.

I am outraged. I could have been out of here by now if they hadn't told her that.

She'd planned to come back to me and sort it out :(

I think someone is out to get me :(

Beenie, I've just checked my work email and there's an out of office autoreply, meaning that the fool's supervisor has received the email before the fool has a chance to do any damage control :D

I'm with Sami, there's always going to be idiot parents taking ill children to play centres or sending them to school...

We had similar when we went on holiday when Charlotte was just a year old. A couple had a small child and a toddler and both were covered in chicken pox and I noticed some spots were not crusted over. I asked if they were still infectious and the lady said she didn't know but didn't want to lose her holiday

Charlotte hadn't had chicken pox then, so I kept her well away as I didn't want my holiday ruined if she caught it.
Here I go again on my own....

Beenie look up the police nonemergency number and if they start up call it. Tell them you've an ongoing noise dispute and they've cranked it up because they know EH is closed.

  • Beenie- sorry to hear that about missing out on the house. That is just so infuriating.

csh- current employer, current store and most of the same team. There is a policy that we can re-employ previous staff, but you usually speak to the old manager first!

    Evening all...

    I'm feeling rather "meh!" tonight...

Work was yawn-enducingly dull - a day in my old job, clearly :( There wasn't much organised for me to do despite them all having been told to make sure they have stuff ready for me (told by the top dogs to make sure they get their money's worth out of me.. nice!) then at the last minute they came up with a mass of jobs for me to do on Tuesday when I'm next in.

Then I came home to find an email from Rhys' nurse basically telling me I'd been doing Rhys' meds wrong for months - we've been putting them in his milk as that's the easiest/guaranteed way for him to take them and I've had a telling off that he should be taking them by syringe only "by now!". Made me feel like a !!!! parent for not knowing :( Then I'd asked if it would be okay to make his bottles up in batches for the day rather than as required (like I've done without fail for the last five months since he's been having formula) and she's veto'ed that idea too and made me feel like crap for even suggesting such a thought. Maybe I'm just tired and worn out from work but it made me feel like a really crappy mum in need of a good cry :(

Sorry to be so whingy... I'll go have a nap and be back later xx
