Hi everyone, hope ur all well. Just had a bit of a catch up, been lurking recently but not posted lately, will try harder.

Very interested to read about being able to go over your birth with a midwife, as I have a few questions about my birth. Would I just phone the hospital and ask if they offer this service? How soon are they going to do this for you GISI?

SM - Mmm enjoy ur glass of wine :)

    Congratulations Sales!!

    xx

I just phoned the maternity ward and she said it will take a few weeks to get my notes and arrange an appointment, but that's fine with me as I'm in no rush.....as long as it's before I'm pregnant again!

Hi GISI, just started looking for Hammy on ur FB friends so I can add her too, and I got to looking at your latest pix. I see you have a backpack to carry Henry in, it looks fab!! How do you get on with that, could you carry him very far? I could do with something like that for when I dog walk and was looking at a few on ebay backalong but I was unsure how heavy T would feel!! Gorgeous pix btw, Henry looks soooo sweet :)

Congrats salesshopper - lovely to have you with us xx

You'll never guess what I've been doing in the park this evening!

Errr playing tug of war :D

Got to boot camp and she had a huge thick rope so we've been working with that. Had a few rounds of tug of war with it, which was fun. Rest of the class was hard work though, and I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow.

Got measured and I've lost 2.75 inches since I came back off my hols. 1.5" off my bust, 0.5" off my waist and 0.5" off one thigh and 0.25" off the other. Nothing off my hips and bum though which is where I want to lose it :(
Here I go again on my own....

I've never carries him in it! My FIL wore it for about half an hour when we walked on the beach and said it wasn't too heavy. I still carry Henry in the ring sling without too much trouble, so I'd imagine I could carry him in the backpack too. Ours is second hand from some friends of my in-laws so I'm not sure how much they cost.

I'll be along later tomorrow night as I'm surprising OH by taking him out for dinner as it's ten years since we got together. I've arranged for MIL to come and babysit but OH doesn't know anything about it- I hope he's pleased!
