If I was still on Mat Leave I could make all these meets
OH may be joining us Wednesday if that's OK! He needs to get car MOT'd and it might be Wednesday so I said we could go to a lovely park in ManchesterHe'll probably b00ger off for a run or something.
3 - hope you get the SW kicked into touch
Ah, I would love to meet you and Jack (and OH!). One day I hope to make the Manchester meet though!

Boo, Jillie and SM,
I'm another one who will need to meet you all in Manchester next Wednesday, I know where I am going, but to get to Heaton Park from where I am is a nightmare so I will need to get the tram and that means coming into Manchester 1st. Is that OK ladies??
On lunch at work at the moment, I feel like throwing my phone out of the window along with the computer, some clients (and surveyors for that matter) can be so obnoxious
Oooh and I've arrange to go to a carboot with my CM on Sunday, can't wait as DH doesn't like them so won't take me. My CM is an :A since finding her in January I now have a social life :rotfl:
yay!! i meet SM off her train bout 10.15am so we can have a coffee while we wait for Caz, if she is defintiely coming down. then we can all go to Heaton Park together.
just need to decide where to meet in heaton park. is Boating Lake ok for everyone? there is a cafe there if its not too sunny.
might see if DH is off wed, that will be 3 men to talk about footie!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

8:30-6 here. Putting him down awake in his cot at night seems to be making all the difference, but it could just be coincidence of course. Whatever it is, I feel more refreshed than I have in months.
I am uber jealous of all your meets next week!
I hope your meeting goes well. D had a very disturbed start to the night but ended up sleeping until almost 6 with only 1 feed which is unheard of here!
I am jealous of all the meets tooButtonmoons wrote: »How do you check your boobs for lumps? I've been asked a few times at doctors etc if I check and I always say yes but I don't, when you poke around your boobs you can feel muscle and general lumpyness from the tissue?
My aunt went to the doctors t'other day cause she found a lump near her breast/armpit and he said it might just be stress and then he felt her breasts and found lumps in them
HOW DO YOU KNOW?
Lumpy breasts are totally OK if you normally have lumpy breasts. You need to check your breasts at different times of the month so you build up your knowledge of what your breasts feel like.
My baby can crawl! She has been mobile for a while, but mostly shuffling about in a strange way, and crawling backwards. As of last night, she is crawling properly.
I am going out soon to buy some Huggies. Another 2 leaky nappies yesterday and 1 today. I had to strip her cot and dry out the mattress yesterday for the second one. I have no reason to think she is a "heavy wetter" as she has been fine up until recently, and it’s not just night time nappies – yesterday it was during her nap so nappy was only on for about 2 hours. I think her shape must just have changed and Pampers are no good anymore. One of the leaks was a Baby Dry nappy so it’s not just the Active Fit!
Where is Aless this morning? Not like her not to be on first thing.
Aless had a disturbed nightso is hopefully finding time to rest.
:T Yay for crawling - now the fun begins :rotfl:
We have no problem with pampers here at all *shrugs*
NMS - I really hope things get much easier for you nowThe one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents:D

I'm here! I was on first thing, I just neglected to post somehow. Bad night here. Today WAS going well until about 30 minutes into his afternoon nap, he decided to basically meltdown and panic and refuse to go back to sleep
. Not normal for us, oh well, will try again in an hour.
I have been lurking all day, just haven't had much to say.
:T for Holly crawling, though! And thanks for asking after me.

Thanks SS
Called midwife and left a message so hopefully she'll get back to me soon enough x
Googled it and it seems like it may be linked to epidural, plus i think i've been doing too much..... well not too much, just doing things ad havent really had a day of just being in bed yet.... so today is the day, just gonna lounge on sofa.....
Think Im having my baby blues days as well, triggered by the amount of pain I'm in and lack of sleep..... plus im on my own today which is always dangerous LOL as I dont have DH here to notice, and tell me he's proud of me and that I'm doing well.....
You are doing well. Good on you for having a rest day. I didn't have any particular pain in my back after my c-section, but I think at that point there was still a lot of general pain and I was still taking lots of painkillers. I'm glad the MW has reassured you a bit.Hello NMS, Dora, Scruffy and everyone else! Nice to hear from those MIA.
Redstar – I think there is a chart on the first page of the Parent Thread with some of the babies weights. Not sure if anyone can view it or if you need to be part of it? Anyway, Holly was 11lb 14oz at 10 weeks, and she was 8lb 7oz when born so Freddy has definitely caught up. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
And I have worked out that you posted about Amelie and called her “A” and that’s why I thought it was you who had an Anya!! Amelie is a lovely name (and film) too! X
