Is it bad that I've almost decided on next one's name????
:o
James Tyler or Joshua Tyler - not that OH knows!!I have my next baby's name picked out too! Daniel Simon (feel like I have to have Simon as it's FIL's name and we used my dad's name as Thomas's middle name) I would like Daniel James (my grandad's name) but I think he would get laughed at for being a DJ! Likewise DH doesn't know - I think he'd think I was crackers!
We're (still!) debating boys names because it's so hard to get OH to agree to a boys name and he keeps changing his mind. I was glad Alice was a girl because I thought it would save us all that work but then he decided he wasn't sure about the boys name we have so we've been through the whole rigmarole again and now he's almost settled on the same name we originally had.Susan, you're such a lovely person. I'm so touched that you'd go help Beenie.hammyhunter wrote: »Susan - how is Alice and her cough now? hehe Susan! I don't know but if I have a boy that's what I'm thinking!
In an ideal world I would like to have between 3 and 5 children, all of which would be boys. I come from a large family of girls so would prefer boys but obviously wouldn't be upset if we were having a girl.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Morning all..
Well done Celia!:T
Day off work today so we're having a lazy start. Rhys has slept in our bed for the last ten or so days since we came back from holiday, purely out of convenience cos his room was crammed full of stuff and it just generally wasn't nice and clear to sleep in. Last night, I cleared lots of things away (but sooner they're out the house, the better!) so we put Rhys down in his cot and hoped for the best... and he slept the whole night in thereIt was rather nice not to be woken up with a foot in my face or without having my hair pulled before I'd even opened my eyes
We got a good letter from the renal specialists yesterday. Features words like "very satisfactory", "clearly encouraging", "excellent progress" and "stabilising"The scan results paragraph wasn't great (though we knew to expect that) but it's not terrible and it has a "oh well, we knew that, we'll wait and see" tone to it, so hey ho  We've got confirmation we can reduce some meds and go to two-monthly blood tests too
Have got a big list of things I could be doing, but I think I'll spend the rest of the morning curled up on the sofa with Rhys.. who's currently sitting, leaning against me, bobbing off to sleep then waking up with a jump :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a good day xx0 -

Big meeting here at 10am - my year of work-related trauma may be over today....although that could well end up with me out of a job in 3 months time, I wouldn't even care about that at this point, I just want it to be over.
My fingers and toes are crossed for MFD, I am very pleased for Fritha and Aless and anyone else who had good sleep!, and I am beaming
at Susan and if Beenie does not take her up on her offer I will be very stern at her.

Well done Celia now keep up the good sleeping
Bruno hope E feels better soon x
Beenie i really feel for you and to treat you like that is awful! i really hope things get sorted asap for you x
I am looking into train times etc for the meet, however i dont know where im going so need help with the station names etc! does it also mean i must take a baby lol? the real reason im looking into going is so i can steal 3's Stokke when shes not looking
Thank you so much for all your advice and pms they were all very much appriciated and i have decided to take a few days away and hopefully tie it in with the meetmy head is in a whirl and my house is a bombsite. I think things like this are hard enough but when you also have a child like Charlie needing so much attention it just makes me scared. Luckily he is off to nursery and sat all morning by the window waiting for the bus to arrive! better go Erin is poting things out the letter box again lol!

Ideally I want at least one of each but I'm not too particular now.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Caz - you need to get to Manchester Picadilly and yes you must bring baby!
Elle - that's fab news! I too would be having a lazy day if I was you!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Caz I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be very pleased if you could make the meet
Bless Erin, that's really cute!
I was drinking out of a plastic cup yesterday and Alfie was reaching out for it, so when I finished the drink I let him take it and he held it with both hands, lifted to his mouth then tipped it up like he was drinking from it!! It was so cute!0 -
I do! But it would either be Benjamin William or Benjamin John (both OH's middle names! not copying
) and then he couldn't have funky initials as a nickname! Actually OH really liked Benjamin so I'll probably get vetoed! I do plan on havign a few so it will work it's way in there somewhere!
BJ could be considered funky initials lol
Redstar - we would have the perfect baby if we could combine Thomas and Freddy's sleep patterns lol
Thanks for sharing krystal and mfd, makes me feel better relying on swing to get him to sleep. he does get really sleepy after a feed but wakes up when i transfer him to his basket, or if something happens to disturb him (like a nappy fill) then i've no chance getting him off again.
Susan - i'd love a girl but just cant imagine (my imaginery baby!) being anything but a boy atm!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
