I've had a mega mse morning, I won a box of 84 pampers easy up pants for £2.99 on ebay which I need to pick up from one road away from me. Then I won a BNIB Tomy bedguard for £6.50 which is one road away from the outlaws and bought this m&p nuna pushchair for £5 on the market! The brakes don't work properly so it's now stripped down in my kitchen while I try to repair it.

Glam the holiday sounds fab :j

VAT increases set to add £33 to the average family supermarket bill...


PER YEAR!!!!!!

Oh my lord, has the world gone mad?

That is 63.5p a week.



I am not saying I agree or otherwise with the VAT increase but the reporting of it is scandalous!


Although this made me laugh:
'For instance, a gingerbread man decorated with two chocolate eyes is exempt from VAT, but if it contains any more chocolate, standard-rated VAT is charged.'

Make sure your gingerbread men only have 2 eyes folks

Mum has a villa over there, she's going out for 4 weeks in August but I think it will be too hot for Jack (and expensive) so hope it will have cooled down a little by September.

But even when he is three and hasn't needed on for over a year people will still be trying to offer him drinks in sippy cups and a highchair to eat. Seriously - I was at a friends for lunch yesterday and she wanted to give Alice a sippy cup and have her sit in a highchair. I don't think she quite appreciated that (aside from any opinions on the matter) Alice is significantly bigger than her son despite being younger so would be unlikely to actually fit in the highchair.

I was looking at flights to Dublin when I was thinking of visiting relatives later in the summer. There was an offer of 99p flights, but when you went throught the booking it was 99p each for me, oh, J & L, and £40 for V! How does that work, she doesn't even get a seat! :rotfl:

But that idea is scrapped now, because thanks to my wonderful, most favorite uncle in the whole world, we're going here;

My uncle, who's horse mad, had spotted a feature in The Racing Post and has he's made lots of money from his horses this year, offered to send us.

I'm having to take Mum with me because OH can't get the right dates off work.

I have a friend who when I visit I make Alice keep her shoes on because once her socks ended up so bad I thought I would have to throw them out. I'm sure your floors can't be any worse than that.

3 was it with ryanair for the flights? I was going to fly to my mums with them and it was £6 for me and £40 for Isla to sit on my knee!

It was Ryanair Boogelly, I just didn't understand it! If we wait til next summer when she's two, it'll be £39.01 cheaper, and V will get her own seat!
