Oh yeah and there was a p a e d o hanging around Keira's nursery/school, he had been following kids home after school, to their houses, watching them play in gardens, asking ages etc, now I just heard this last week from another mum - I asked if he had been reported to police? No-one thought so, anyway, the same night he was hanging around the football pitches watching all the little kids playing football, and the mob got him, he's in hospital in a critical condition, now whilst I think he is disgusting, I really think doing something like that is repulsive, more so because how could they be 100% sure it was HIM? Could of just been some old chap having an evening stroll.

I live in such a scruffy area.

Mel...i was shocked to read about your hassle with the xbox sub...i think id have been as angry as you but its hard to understand if he actually knew what he was doing. Im not sure i would have done at that age...tho im sure he does now!!

After a few more chats with him, I don't think he actually realised what he was doing......The way it is worded makes no mention of BUYING anything, it sort of asks 'would you like some microsoft points' in a kind of friendly, i'm giving you these, kind of way!!! Very devious of microsoft, and the fact that it doesn't pay to be nice iin business, they aren't one of the richest companies in the world for no reason!

I haven't yet decided whether to still take the money from him, as although I feel he should have been a bit more careful.....it is partly our fault for not checking how the card details were stored etc, plus he has only had the console since christmas, so 6mths isn't really that long to get to learn his way around it properly.

I also feel a bit bad for him atm, we had this xbox incident on Sunday, then yesterday I got called into the teacher after school to discuss an issue with a boy he has started playing with, a sort of ongoing thing that started a week or so ago, then when we got home he was on his way upstairs and I asked him to make sure the living room door didn't slam, so he closed it slowly behind him, in that space of time k had run over to the door and stuck his fingers in the crack, ensueing chaos of me screaming stop!, K screaming in pain and the fact that L was already upset from the previous two incidents, meant he was left almost hysterical and shaking:( I tried to reassure him that it wasn't his fault but he just couldn't calm himself down.... He seems ok today, but I feel like a crap mum. I also think we need to give him a bit more one on one attention, and have possibly been a bit too reliant on him being 'the eldest':(

Me too - I have a friend who had a baby in February and I don't know how she feeds him because I've never seen her actually feeding and I don't ask.

I agree, I would never ask someone how they feed their baby...what business is it of mine?

After I had K I got asked this question but in a very bizarre way, she basically said 'Are you feeding him yourself'!! My reply....'Yes, I am bottle feeding him MYSELF, well I can't really expect the neighbours to do it can I'??? She got all flustered, stoopid woman!

Becles - I am very jealous of the area you live in, how lovely to have that much greenery so close:)

Fritha - Yay for Celia sleeping through:)

Caz - Sorry to hear about your problems. It is so hard to turn your back on a relationship (even a painful one) when there are kids involved, I hope you can work your way through it and i'm sure you will decide what is best for you and the kids.

Right sorry for mammoth post, but her's an update from me:)
Midwife came yesterday to do T's heel pr!ck test:( After all the chaos of trapped fingers etc...I managed to get all FOUR kids bathed/showered/fed/dressed and we went out shopping for some pretty girly clothes....came back with a pack of socks and 1 romper, we just didn't like anything in Next or Boots! I did however, get some monitors (finally) from Argos and so changed all the Angelcare set over into the nursery and set up the new ones in the boys room.

T had a feed at 10pm so as she is currently feeding every 3hrs(ish) I expected to be woken at 1am...she didn't wake until 3.30am, then was settled back into bed after much winding/pooping/changing at 5am.....at which point K decided to start shouting his head off, and then had a huge tantrum when we tried to settle him back off, he got promptly deposited downstairs in the travel cot! I went back to bed to grab an hour before T wakes for her next feed (6.30ish) 7.50, I woke up, everything in the house was silent.....so I went to investigate........

    T - Fast asleep:eek:, K - Fast asleep:eek:, J - Fast asleep:eek:, L - sitting in the living room doing his homework:eek::eek:

Who wants to wager that will NEVER happen again:p:rotfl:

Right I will get off the thread now and stop clogging it up with Huuuuge posts:o

Oh, btw did weezl post her research? Have I somehow missed it?

    Mel x

Love your response! I was slightly confused the first time I was asked that too, and it does make me feel embarrassed saying "no, she's bottle fed" then rambling on explaining that I did try to breastfeed etc etc etc. I know I don't have to justify myself, but I always feel I need to!

I just had to go check Alfie was still breathing as he's been asleep since just gone 10am! He only got up at 8 *whispers* after sleeping 12 hours last night

I really do feel blessed to have such a good sleeper for a baby :o:D

Mel sounds like so much going on in your house! That's great everyone was sleeping so well this morning.

I need my baby to wake up so I can go out! Going to have a walk down to my sister's with A in the sling I think.

ETA lol he just woke up!!

It will be a running trend :D Keira was like that, 10-12 hours at night and 2 2hour kips throughout the day, even now she has 12hours at night and an hour or so after nursery if she has been running around like a loon (well more so)

Your next one will be a screamer :p:D

Lily used to sleep reall well, but now she's turned into the lightest sleeper ever. Any small noise will wake her up.

We have the windows closed and the kids across the road in the school are shouting, it keeps making her jump and waking her up.

She isn't sleeping well at night either :(

Her poor eyes look so tired, but there has to be complete silence for her to actually manage sleep and its not possible when our house is right on a main road.

    Cant wait to move :)

Errr, i keep biting my lip and its bleeding. I hate the taste of blood, its making me sick :(

    Well done Celia :T:T
Did Fritha manage to sleep through the night, or was she waking to see why Celia hadn't woken her? :D

I only woke twice for a wee and a 'Oh my goodness is she still alive' check :-)
