Morning! well our quick trip to Aberdeen turned out to be a nightmare, it took us 6 hours in the end and with 2 tired hungry babies it was very stressful
i think i need matchsticks to keep my eyes open today, OH is still is bed as he was driving and was exhausted when we got back.
Luckily Charlie has nursery so a fw hours off for me
not been able to catch up and i have a baby shouting 'muuuummmy' What's for you won't go past you0 -
Me too Weezl, for an array of reasons.I feel quite cross about this hypothesis.
And also hello nicki and nice to see you on here and hear your news
And hello Nicki
My alarm didn't go off this morning so I missed ward rounds, and I have a METRIC TON of work stuff to get done. Plus I'm supposed to go out to lunch at a friend's place and the chances of getting there are absolutely minimal because of all the stuff to do. And I'm feeling so overwhelmed by it that all I can do is sit here and on Facebook and stare vacantly at the screen while the husband is ranting about something that's happening in the Gulf of Mexico.
Hmm. I feel better now. I shall now be tuning out the husband and making a list before my 10:30 meeting.

I'm still in touch with her. I don't want to break any confidence but as far as I know she's doing okay. She doesn't post on MSE any more.
Thanks for letting me know
I hav an amazingly clingy baby here, but I need to DO things. I think she needs a nap, but she doesn't agree with me! Might have to use the biscuit method of distraction while I polish my shoes and make her lunch. We are meeting my Mum at rhyme time, then I'm coming home to sort myself out for my interview and they will have lunch and then presumably go back to my parents. That reminds me. i'm meant to be preparing for this interview too!

Thanks for replies yesterday, sorry, I've developed a habit of writing a post then disappearing off for the day!
Weezl...you could stretch the pushchair theory to dressing the little men in dresses, or you could just make them a little sister
Reminds me though, I used to know a couple who actively encouraged their son to wear dresses (as opposed to him asking for them) and would buy him fairy and princess outfits, which was fine til he got to 7 and then it was just a touch strange when he went out in dresses
& you've confirmed that I need to get back to them gym, I'm seriously hating the way I look at the moment, and I've got...12 weeks exactly til we get married  I'm putting off dress buying til the last minute in the hope of buying a small dress not a big fat one to cover my gut!
Becles, sounds like you had a horrendous time when you were pregnant. The boot camp sounds good - will they give you info on eating etc or is it an exercise thing? Either way you should give it a go, you've nothing to lose (get it?:D)
Mel glad you had a nice hol & :T for Kai, clever boy!
Pink Princess, I would so go and view the house!
Tia might the AF type pains be from straining/being stuck to the loo?!
Kindof don't be so silly you're a fantastic mum, you seem to have a much harder time of it in the days, as you're on your own with him (I think?) where I thankfully have managed to leave him with my mum and dad a few times in the day for a break, so it's no different  I just daredn't leave him overnight yet, I would feel sorry for the poor soul who'd offered :rotfl:
Som T's sleeping is fantastic :T can you send her up here to teach Guy how to do it please?
Thanks for green pushchair suggestions - think I found it, it's the Silver Cross Dazzle, and I want it! Bit shocked at the price tag though, hopefully a kind grandparent might buy it :rotfl: Anyone had one with any opinions on it?
All's good here - had to go back to the docs yesterday with a water infection I've had forever, none of the antibiotics seem to be working. Nevermind, gives me another excuse to put off dtd for a bit longer :rotfl: Just about to get up and ready for the day and take the little monster for some quality time with my parents, and also have a chat with them about the wedding. Bit of a rock & a hard place situation at the moment, we were planning to get wed on our lonesome at Gretna, but OHs dad kicked up a fuss about it so he and step mum are now coming, so I asked my parents, and my sis (she's only 10 so can't be left behind) so had to ask bro too of course, so OH now has to ask his bro & sis, and respective partners & kids, which will extend to his step bro & sis, partners and kids...and basically, it gets out of hand and becomes exactly what we never wanted  Sooooo...what to do?!
SM wanted to say days ago but forgot, then just been reminded when I spotted you...try not to lose heart with the job hunt :A & also to say that happiness is more important than a job with loads of money, so try not to lose sight of that (not saying you are, just think that a lot of people do, me included) & know that you'll never get back the precious baby time with your littlies

I've lost some weight off my top half. I bought some new bras a few months ago, but the cups are too big now and the straps keep slipping off my shoulders
I really wanted to lose it off my bum, hips and thighs though.
That's my problem. If I loose weight, it goes from my boobies first and I quite fancy keeping them.
After J & L I did WW propertly, and got down to a loose size 10. But, I think my tummy looked worse. It looked ok dressed, but in real life the spare skin looked crinkly - it looks a bit better filled out a bit!ditto.
But we'd probably have to take it over to DT, and life is short
I was going to as why, but I won't if it'll start World War 10.
Glam If the IL's are here on 7th May, isn't that a good reason to come to the sling meet?
Searchie Good to see you back. It's been too quiet without you. Did you have a good time?, were you getting your hair done while you were away?, how is it?:beer:0
