Becles, I lost my pregnancy weight very quick, then found it again and it had friends that wanted to come too
.
:rotfl::rotfl:I can SO identify with this !I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Becles, its all on my tummy, it looks horrid, all uneven and loose flabby skin. I hate it, I can't wear anything that makes it look better, it's like I've got jumpers shoved up there, shop lifter style. Loosing weight won't help it, I'm stuck with it for life (or until I can find 4 or 5 grand for surgery, to which DH said no due to the risks)
I've got a loose flabby tummy skin, but it's like an empty sack rather than fat. It hangs down over my bits and gets smelly underneath if I don't lift it up and wash itI can't wear small knickers as they sit in the fold and the elastic chaffs, so I have to wear big granny knickers now
Got the nightmare of trying to find big bikini bottoms soon, although I have spotted these at BHS which I'm keen to try on:

I did do a mystery shop for a cosmetic surgery company and was told I would be a good candidate for a tummy tuck, but I can't afford that and the lady said I need to be sure I want no more pregnancies before it is done, which I'm not sure about.
Still debating the boot camp, but think I will sign up if Craig doesn't mind watching the bairns.
Going shopping with Charlotte today. We're going looking for holiday clothes and sandals for her, or san-gulls as she calls themHere I go again on my own....0 -

Weezl - why cant we do sit ups? (or did Gym have a C section? I cant remember, sorry) and (E is heavier than 10 pound and doesnt sleep the night lol)
We can do sit ups at 6 weeks, but best avoided before, which I think Gym is. It's because if your abdominal muscles haven't joined back together again and then you firm them up, you can permanentise (not a real word!) the split in them. HTH xxxThere was at one point some research into the link between traumatic births and autism, though not sure if this has been completed. They had noticed a correlation between forceps/ventouse deliveries and autism, and were hypothesising that perhaps the autism was operating even at that early stage to prevent the unborn child understanding the signals to get into the optimum position to come down the birth canal.
I feel quite cross about this hypothesis.

And hello Nicki
My alarm didn't go off this morning so I missed ward rounds, and I have a METRIC TON of work stuff to get done. Plus I'm supposed to go out to lunch at a friend's place and the chances of getting there are absolutely minimal because of all the stuff to do. And I'm feeling so overwhelmed by it that all I can do is sit here and on Facebook and stare vacantly at the screen while the husband is ranting about something that's happening in the Gulf of Mexico.
Hmm. I feel better now. I shall now be tuning out the husband and making a list before my 10:30 meeting.

I'm still in touch with her. I don't want to break any confidence but as far as I know she's doing okay. She doesn't post on MSE any more.
Thanks for letting me know
I hav an amazingly clingy baby here, but I need to DO things. I think she needs a nap, but she doesn't agree with me! Might have to use the biscuit method of distraction while I polish my shoes and make her lunch. We are meeting my Mum at rhyme time, then I'm coming home to sort myself out for my interview and they will have lunch and then presumably go back to my parents. That reminds me. i'm meant to be preparing for this interview too!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009
