Seconded. Becles is it one of those where you go and stay for a few days - like an evil army type camp? We could have an MSE wobbly mummys weekend away! :rotfl:
They are starting some residential courses, but the one I was looking for was just weekly sessions. At my nearest sports centre it's on three times a week. You can go to any number of sessions and you can mix and match centres to suit too.
I've lost some weight off my top half. I bought some new bras a few months ago, but the cups are too big now and the straps keep slipping off my shouldersI really wanted to lose it off my bum, hips and thighs though.
Here I go again on my own....0 -
I'm off to bed, night girls!
Becles, its all on my tummy, it looks horrid, all uneven and loose flabby skin. I hate it, I can't wear anything that makes it look better, it's like I've got jumpers shoved up there, shop lifter style. Loosing weight won't help it, I'm stuck with it for life (or until I can find 4 or 5 grand for surgery, to which DH said no due to the risks)0 -
Yay! I can see Vi walking on FB now. Clever girl and v cute.
Taking my baby off to bed now. She has the hiccups and is being unusually cuddly. Think we might both just sleep in the spare room.
Night. x0 -
He has always been a bit freaked by certain things, but he got better and now all of a sudden (over the past few weeks) he puts his hands over his ears and says his head is sore because of the noise. But the tv or whatever isn't that loud.
He's also drooling all the time right now too.
And eating paper, I had to fish sodden tissues out from the side of the couch where he had stashed them and that was after I told him off for eating them! He sat there and ate tissues one after the other! Like they were sweets!
but otherwise you've described my Chris! he eats paper constantly, hates noise and has random hissy fits. I'm pretty sure he's as normal as any child of mine can be tho  maybe it's not linked at all ??Krystaltips wrote: »Oh Sami, I used to know someone who travelled all the way from Ayre to Mary Cronk in Chichester on the night train, in labour with a breech baby!! But then, would that mean that some people are wired that way but manage to re wire themselves? (as in the case of brain damage to certain areas of the brain forcing new areas to take over those tasks)
Yes, I believe this is possible, though in the case of autism rare. The brain is very plastic in the early years, and can make up huge structural deficits by forging alternative neural pathways. This is one of the reason why health puts in a lot of resources for kids on the spectrum in terms of SLT and OT, etc up to the age of 5, but then it tails off as they get older.
One of the things which kept being cited to me when DD was much younger was the case of the 3 year old who was born with half her brain missing, but this wasn't spotted until an MRI at the age of 3, because she had managed to learn to walk and talk just a bit slower than usual, which technically she shouldn't have been able to do because it was those parts of the brain which she lacked.0 -

Well another 8 hours here but had a thought that maybe she is too warm! Altho the last 2 nights she has had not dirty nappy in the morning, just wet so that prob helps too. Would have thought she'd more grotty or hungry when she wakes after 8 hours but she's much the same as normal.
guessing that helps.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Morning all. I hope everyone has managed sleep of some sort. It seems that we have managed to get back into sleeping through the night again (we had lapsed while she was ill, and got back into having a night feed about 3am... for an hour and a half, so I had to be mean and get her out of that again... a big battle this time round, but we have got there

I remember you doing this when I met you the first time in that ice cream cafe!
Inspired by Keiren's dairy yesterday I realised that J might not want to go back to sleep after his first bottle - he's usually tired but takes a while to get back off & then gets grumpy. So today we are downstairs, having brekkie already (normally don't have til gone 8.30am) and watching TV. I'll put him down for a nap in bit - plus it gets us ready for work schedule in a few weeks
Lady - send some sleeping vibes to Jack for me please! Well done Izzy :TA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Morning, Benjamin had me up 3 times in the night for no apparent reason, hubby woke me once for a very apparent reason and I woke up this morning with diarrhea
Hubby has taken Benjamin to the CM (after a frantic lost shoe search where Benjamin was insisting his shoe was outside LOL) and I have got back into bed to consider how many of the pile of things I have to do before I finish with the company tomorrow I can do from here.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
