Gill - I've never done a test however I've seen some horror stories of people who reacted. Am sure if you did the test tonight it would react by tomorrow if it was going to. Also, would advise DH taking T out as it gets very smelly

Hi Elle - not been on at the same time as you for a while. Well, I might of when I was in work but that doesn't count!

Chinese has been demolished and now have a cheeky vimto - it's only cheeky cos it's nommy! No alcohol tonight in case J is poorly and I need to take him back to docs.

Thanks for the advise guys - I've done the test now so I figure if I have no reaction by 10am tomorrow morning then I'll risk it. However if there's anything there at all then I'll leave it the full 48 hours.

It has to be as early as 10 if I want DH to take T out as he has a whole afternoon infront of TV planned starting with grandprix at 12 lol

SS, I didn't leave the house until around 10pm to go clubbing and now thats so unthinkable!

I knew I was getting old the night I saw girls with little dresses and high heels and thought they must be v cold and have sore feet :rotfl:

i thought that about 3-4 years ago when i told a girl she wouldnt be so cold if she wore clothes at some point :rotfl:x

Ditto all that!!

It has been too hot for baking this evening but all done now. Bought some fabulous cupcake cases like the brown muffin wrapper things you see in starbucks, but I've got pink and black ones, both with white spots on - very cool! My sister now has vanilla and chocolate birthday cupcakes for her party tomorrow and my order is finished which is getting picked up in the morning and is paying for my night out tomorrow

Off to bed now with a cautious optimism that I may not need to get up again until 7am

OH and I have only had one night away from together H since he was born but it was great and we'll be doing it again!

Aless- H will only settle for me if I'm around, but if I'm out or he with MIL he settles fine with them.

Aless- friends of ours with a baby the same age as H have just done a 9 hour flight to Canada. Their bub was fine. I know the took some brand new toys that she'd not seen before, not sure what else but I will try and find out. I do know they were told they couldn't use a baby carrier (Baby Bjorn type thing) on board, so not sure if that would be the same with a sling, or indeed the same with all airlines.

When I flew with easy jet you had to use the seatbelts they provide for babies for take off, landing and bumpy bits. I used my sling at other times. Ours was only a short flight so I can't give much advice, the best thing we did was managing to get a free seat inbetween us - better than having the extra leg room.

I know this is totally too much info but since none of you, or me are real people then its ok i can rant ... my flipping coil has fell out :eek: how does that even happen?! It's not like i was dilating or anything so how did it fit through the cervix lol?? The strings were just hanging out and i discovered the thing was no longer as internal as it should be!! I've put it in the bin :rotfl: The MSE in me felt quite sad since tia said how they cost £150. I'd have totally sold it on ebay if i could.

Well on the plus side, the constant cramping stopped as soon as it was out and i feel almost human again. Don't think i want another mirena, will stick with the copper one.

Hope Aless, Krystal and others got some sleep... I pretty much passed out at 9.30 last night and slept solidly til 5, only got up when E kicked off at 6 though! Still quite bleary... but much improved
