People will be here to view the house in 35 mins :(

I hate having people in my house, especially people i dont know.

Do any of your babies sweat alot? We just looked at the back of Lilys head and one side of her hair was soaking wet and dripping, it smelt of nothing and wasn't sick. Her vest and the blanket she was laying on where dry

Caitlyn sweats a lot. If she falls asleep on my knee there's always a wet patch when she wakes up. Sometimes if I stroke her hair I can feel she's sweating.

EA - Finn's head has been sweating lots in this weather...especially when he's nursing (we get soooo hot).

Thanks, at least i know my baby is a weird sweat monster :p

Aless, i cant cuddle Lily for to long in this weather. For some reason we both overheat really quickly, so when we're cuddling the over heatness isn't good.

I cant even have my laptop on my lap anymore as it heats up my legs and its very uncomfortable.

There was a powercut in Portsmouth last night, i wasn't affected it seems so all my freezer food is fine :D

Becles, i bet you've lost so much weight with all this boot camp business! Sounds fabulous.

I've not really lost weight as in pounds on the scales. The trainer said you don't really lose weight at first as you are burning fat and building muscle, and the muscle weighs heavier than fat.

I have lost inches though. I've got down from an E cup to a D cup in bra's and from a size 16 to 14 in trousers.

The trainer commented this morning that she can see a difference in me :)

People of PT, I will need to start picking your brains very soon on What to Take on a 7 Hour Airplane Journey for a 6 Month Old. Travel is rapidly approaching, and I am growing apprehensive!

Plenty of nappies and wipes in case of delay. Change of clothes - just in case! Disposable bibs are handy as you can just chuck them afterwards.

Usually you don't get food or drinks for babies, so plenty of supplies. Something to suck or chew on at take off and landing. Healthy eating goes out the window - I fill them full of biscuits as it keeps them quiet :D

Few new (or forgotton old things) to do, like rattles, picture books, etc.

It's not that bad travelling to be honest. I've not found it stressful or a hassle with mine.
Here I go again on my own....

Thanks! I knew I had forgotten something on my list - disposable bibs! I know what you mean about snacks... I've gone against my principles and added those Organix snack things to my shopping trolley and Finn may even have his first rusk! :rotfl:

It's still 2 weeks (and a bit) away, but I want to start gathering stuff early as I don't usually buy wipes, nappies, etc in the shopping :)

Aless I give Molly salt-free rice crackers instead of rusks :)

Edit: I didn't mean that you shouldn't give Finn rusks if you want, it's just that you seemed with your little whistly face that you might think that's not a great thing to do so I thought I'd tell you what I did instead.

We have a box of rusks, but only for when she's refusing all food so I can sneak extra calories into her because she thinks it's a special treat thing ;)

yes we also have salt-free rice cakes on the list and in the cupboard - but like you said, could be good just to have something to eat. (i don't necessarily like the idea of rusks nutritionally but also financially b'c if i wanted to give him something 'sweet' i can whip up some sugar free homemade flapjacky things :D). But we're all very new at this food thing, so i keep an open mind! ;) i don't anticipate airline food being very BLW friendly, lol.

At our weaning class we were told we are not meant to give rusks as they can cause problems in later life, such as IBS and wheat intolerances...

So the big box of rusks i have in the kitchen are now for me, nom nom nom :)
And they are unopened so will be all crunchy fresh :D
