  • Too pink 3 - it didn't look like an awful fit, but  at the price!

Hubby has me searching google street view for memories - I am currently looking at a wonderful restaurant called Cheeseburger in Paradise in Lahaina, Maui where we went on our honeymoon - fantastic.

Thoroughly recommend google street view as a reminiscing tool :D

We can cap that one! A few years ago we were holidaying at a villa in France with its own unheated outdoor pool. Around 9pm we heard some giggling outside, looked out the window and realised that our DD had climbed out of the window of her bedroom and was skinny dipping in the pool AND had left a not so little momento of her dip on the bottom of the pool. So hubby had to strip down to trunks on a decidedly chilly night, and dive into a freezing cold pool to fish out the unmentionable . That's still talked about by DS to this day :D

    :rotfl:

We were sitting around the baby pool on holiday and all of a sudden a boy yelled "Daaaaadddddd I've just done a poo". Never seen so many parents move so fast to drag their bairns out of the water!

Pool ended up closed for a few hours. They had a sort of hoover thing that sucked it out, then they put more chlorine in.

Can't recall any poo stories but once when I was about 2 or 3, my Mam was busy talking on the phone then realised it had gone very quiet and I'd vanished. She found me in the kitchen, grating a block of lard through the shelves in the fridge. Took her ages to clean all that up :o
Here I go again on my own....

    Me too!

SM - have you been awol, or have I just been missing you for the last few days?

I've just remembered other embarrasing moments, but not mine!

When I split up with ex, I went on holiday with the parents, little sister and J&L to Spain.
Mum was in the pool chatting to a scottish bloke sat on the edge, and me and my little sister (she was about 14) swam over to join them. As soon as we got there, we instantly spotted a ginger b0ll0ck sticking out of his speedos - and fell about laughing, almost drowning! Poor Mum didn't have a clue!

The same holiday, we got chatting to an English couple at the bar. Mum had had a martini or two, and mentioned how their neighbours had been 'enjoying themselves' on the balcony the night before. Mrs Neighbour had been howling like a banshee apparenty! As we all went back to our rooms, this couple went into the one next door to my parents! :o
