We always end up against Germany....or Argentina.....

If we beat Germany we get to play the winners of Argentina and Mexico :D

Hope you get something sorted csh - sounds bad *hugs*

Josh said "bloody hell" this evening, and before I could say anything Charlotte sternly said "don't say that Josh, it's a naughty word" :rotfl:

what age did she start going? and how long do they go for? I know it says the 1st course is 10 wks. I'm trying to convince DH that it's worth it!

Also, I see your in cheshire. would you mind telling me which one you go to? the nearest aquababies to me is in timperly which isnt that easy to get to

I'm in Northwich, which is the nearest one to me, we do Waterbabies, it's on a Tuesday morning. Katie started going at 5 months old, she's 3 now, I think 4 is the oldest I've known.

It's most definitely worth it, she has sense around water, on holiday she was actually telling us what she wanted to do.

CONGRATULATIONS MEL!!! Just popping on and off - gave C a bath at 7.30, took her and J to bed at 8.45, came downstairs and did an hour and a half of ironing, then did DHs and Js sandwiches, so having a rest now then going to bed in a min :)

    Evening all..

Congrats Mel! :j Well done you xxx Welcome to the world, Tea Anne :D

Rhys had a fabby day out with Grandma and Grandad who both sound like they had a lot of fun :D He's been zonked out all evening, far too tired to eat his tea, must be all the fresh air. Think we might need a midnight Weetabix snack if he wakes up soon

Tomorrow I am finally going to the hospital to get my volunteer ID badge made so I can start volunteering on the Neonatal Unit. Just need to get in touch with the midwife in charge and arrange it :D Then I have to dash back home to meet the community nurse who's coming out to weigh Rhys since he's not been weighed for a month :o And then we're either chilling at home (might consider some tidying) or might go for a wander into town, see how hot it is

Hope everyone is okay :) Extra sleep vibes for Hammy and anyone else who wants them xx
  • I just want a selfish ungrateful rant about my MIL, who you all know is lovely but she looks after Benjamin on a Wednesday and she drives me to distraction!!!

She is ALWAYS meddling in my laundry  she puts on half loads, she line dries towels (which I hate) she always empties the tumble dryer or the washing machine and folds everything in the wrong way and puts it in the wrong place. That combined with her constantly going on about, or stealing, or doing my ironing just pees me off immensely.

I know that she is trying to help - she tells me all the time 'Don't be mad MFD but I have taken these (20) things home and re-washed them for you and ironed them. You work full time and I have the time to do these things':mad::mad::mad: P1ss off and let me look after my own family.

Benjamin has 3 identical white t-shirts (came in a pack) and after an hour of searching tonight I found one of them tucked in between some towels in the utility room. !!!!!!???? Is she hiding the baby's clothes or something???

I know I am an ungrateful cow but I needed to get that out before I explode :o

She also cleans my hob, which does pee me off but I don't mind so much, especially if it needs doing (it is rarely that bad). And she unloads the dishwasher and leaves all the dishes on the side  if you know where to get a coffee cup out then you should know where to put it back in you strange old bat!!! At least when it is in the dishwasher I can cook dinner and leave hubby to unload it, if it is on the side then I have to clear it away before I start cooking.

It just feels like all her attempts to make my life easier actually make it more difficult...

Sounds like me when I have to deal with OH trying to do chores, he always only half does them which actually causes me more work than it's worth!

I don't mind my mum doing chores for me as she does them the same way as me - she did teach me after all! But if OH's mum does stuff it's just weird, unfortunately/fortunately it doesn't happen often.

  • I know in my heart that she is trying to be kind Jenny, which is why I don't say anything to her and just let off steam on here every so often. I guess I would hate it more if she were disinterested.

In bed now, night all. No SM today? Hope she is okay.
