I do love how she just said get some pills, no offer of counselling etc the nhs sucks :(
hope the others here can help you with the housing thing:)

I wouldn't say the NHS sucked, I'd say it was over stretched and under funded.

Tradionally people would express their dissatisfaction of the way the Government funded NHS is run by voting for the party in the general election who promise change and reform.

Handy for us there is a GE in a fortnights time and we can all go and vote for change eh?

Oh no..., hang on. You don't vote.........:p

    Your vote is your voice!

Poor Amber! I'm counting down until Maddy goes.

I'm hoping he'll put his foot down with his wife and say they're staying, but this has happened alot over the years, they turned up to Ben's birthday once 2hrs late as they had another kids party to go to, and Ben's christening, they went to the church, then disappeared and appeared an hour or so later in jeans! :(
Too many children, too little time!!!

Beenie - I haven't commented because I don't think I have anything helpful to add. But now I feel bad so I just want to let you know that the full force of MFD's 'hope you get piles' vibes are currently directed at your neighbours and your waste of space housing officer.

    What she said!

    Tara, I love you :)

    Don't fret over BIL...

If he loves his brother then he will decide to stay after the meal once he realises it's a wedding reception... If he decides to just leave and put someone elses birthday party ahead of his brothers wedding then you won't even notice he's not there because all the people you love and who love you and want to spend time with you will be there and if OH has a problem with it then it will be up to him to raise it with him...

If there's anything I've learnt since our wedding, it's that the in laws are completely different to my family and would climb over one another to inconvenience each other, whereas my family all come together for a party... I can't change them, I can just accept that people that care about us are there for us and everyone else can go do what they like... :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

As Tia's busy, can someone help as I know we are gonna come to blows when he gets home, at the bottom is part of the letter put with the invites. His brother has just rung saying he won't be staying after we have eaten at 7pm as they have a birthday party to go to. I thought what I wrote explained to people the importance of the engagement party, was it not enough, and now he'll want to tell people???
    .....

But isnt the wedding after the Christening so surely he'll stay once they realise its a wedding??
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

Thats totally what I want to say but can't get a min cos K won't settle tonight.
Even if he knows its a wedding before hand if this birthday thing is so important to him he may choose to go anyway!! Then you risk the cat out of the bag.
I say stuff it, leave it at that and buy shoes and earrings and sparkles and stuff x x x
