She did a PND check on me too (is this standard for a weaning chat?? lol!) and said i scored 20/30 so need to see GP asap for some pills... She's gonna ring the housing woman too. Not sure what she's going to say but she thoroughly dissaproved of the restraining order comment. Thanks for all your replies, not sure i feel strong enough to go into battle with her via complaints though. Even the HV said this woman has an abrupt manner but this will work in my favour if we can get her on board.

Have you made an appointment to see your GP? Don't ignore it.

:TFor your HV phoning housing - it sound's like you've got a good one. Hope it helps. :)

:T for Charlotte going to the toilet all on her own! Clever girl.

You took the pee out of me for saying this a few weeks ago :D

I know I teased, but I knew exactly what you meant. :p

No further advice on Little Mr Stroppy Pants, other than ignoring/distracting him.

Little Miss Stroppy Pants is at the same stage, now she can do a few things for herself, she wants to do everything for herself. :(

She walked into the door frame with the push along this morning and instead of her usual turning round and looking to me for help, she had a strop instead and went on the floor crying! I ignored the stroppyness, pushed it away from the frame, and picked her back up to push it again.

Don't worry, it's only a phase :p, and he should be over it by the time he's 18. :rotfl::rotfl:

:T :T Charlotte! (sorry just reading backwards now). Susan, sounds like you're super organised for number 2, fabulous. Those babies sleeping long at night need to come and give mine a lesson :D. I think it's partially because I've started dream-feeding him again, so am going to try dropping that now he's used to his new bedtime.

Beenie, fab the HV stuck up for you. Hope you can get something sorted and agree the housing lady was being absolutely inappropriate. We'll all rooting for you, even if you feel like you don't have any help/support :(.

SS, ooo that's really interesting re: mental illness. I love nerdy facts like that. Wonder why the difference in UK vs. Europe? DO the Brits stoop more or something? :p

ETA: just got an e-mail, but HiPP Organic are running a comp for tickets to the Baby Show in B'ham. :)

As long as I know I am not the only one suffering :p

It's just bl00dy annoying because he is so delightful one second and then a complete pain in the a$$ the next and then back to wonderful cuteness again!

Beenie - I haven't commented because I don't think I have anything helpful to add. But now I feel bad so I just want to let you know that the full force of MFD's 'hope you get piles' vibes are currently directed at your neighbours and your waste of space housing officer.

The tops of my feet are really itchy. They get so about this time every day. Nothing is touching them. I know itchy feet-tops is bad in pregnancy - is it okay in normal everyday life?

:o *wells up* Thanks guys :o:o:o
Am at docs in the morning, not sure what to think of the "diagnosis" from the questionnaire, it wasn't exactly new news, i've been thinking it for a while but how do i tell the difference between that and just being fed up cos of the mess that has been my life since i was 19w pregnant?! I have all the signs even if they weren't on that questionnaire. I'm so angry that my ex has single handedly managed to ruin what should have been a special time... But then again - it wasn't exactly single handed as my neighbours/sister/mother have all contributed too.. But all of those issues wouldn't be really issues if i had him.

Weezl i had a hb too :p (although, a last minute one, which i'm glad about cos i might have overthunk it like i do with most things if i'd known sooner)

Honestly, I have no idea, although I have an exceptionally nerdly theory related to language and metaphor played out in the bodily arena. Think of all the English-language metaphors related to the back and the word back - people put your back up, for one. But in German you experience extreme emotions (in linguistic terms) in your belly, or in your digestive system in general.

Are your feet getting hot? Are you wearing uncomfortable tights? Are you used to being barefoot or in slippers at home? Or are you getting literal itchy feet to go home to your boy (see above ;))?
