Right, OH's had an extra 2 hrs 30 mins compared to when I got up so I'm making him a brew and taking his pressies up
That way I'm being nice not just waking him because I think he should get up too
Have a nice day all xBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

Morning all,
Happy Father’s Day to Bruno and MOTM if you are lurking!
Csh – hope you manage to sort out your hair problem. Your scalp sounds sore. I am scared of home dye kits!
Well done to sleeping babies. Holly slept right through again!! She didn’t yesterday – she was awake at 5am for over an hour, but she did today. When she woke up a couple of times, I just told DH to leave her chatting to herself (he was meant to be on duty, but it wakes me up anyway!) and sure enough she fell back to sleep. The problem I have is when I am on duty (6 days out of 7), I am worried she will wake DH so I end up going in to see her when I don’t really need to and she would probably drop off herself most of the time. And, last night was the first night that she didn’t complain when going to bed (although it was 10pm by the time we got home and got organised).
Anwyay, DH is still sleeping and Holly and I have been up since 7.30 so we have been to the shop and bought rolls and the sausages are grilling just now.
We are going to some family day thing for a couple of hours and then DH is taking Holly to visit his gran in hospital whilst I cook dinner as my parents are coming. I don’t really want H going to the hospital too much, but it definitely perked his gran up. We can’t understand a word she says so it’s really awkward just sitting there. Her eyes are all over the place and she doesn’t seem to be able to see us very well, but she managed to focus on H and hold her hand!
Boo - love the flares!0 -
Morning ladies
Boogellyboo - we are pretty close to chorlton and I drive so that would probably be ideal for me. Any ideas how I find out details etc?
Mel - glad you had a good night. RE underwear I bought all mine from peacocks and would agree they look like rags very quickly. Were they the packs of 5? Shame because they're nursing bras are fab. I would reccommend Bonmarche as long as you're size 12 or above. They do really nice underwear. Basic cotton briefs in packs are 5 pairs for £6 or the nicer ones are 3 pairs for £7. They cater for older ladies as well so some are very nig full briefs but there's lots of lower cut pairs too. I work for them and we get loads of younger people who come in for them.
Musogirl - fab news re Holly. I think T would sleep better in his cot too as he loves it when I lie him in it but I'm much too paranoid. This is the first week we've left him alone in the bedroom when he's gone to bed earlier than us, and we have a movement monitor!!!
We had another good night, T slept until 5am then went back down until 8. DH is still in bed having his fathers day lie in. I'm having to fight down my annoyance with him atm as we bought a nice fathers day tea from tesco and he left it on the sofa all night!
I went upstairs to feed T and put him to bed when we got in last night leaving him to put everything away. It was only when I looked for the milk that I realised none of it was in fridge and found it on sofa. To be fair it was partly my fault for not checking as it was in a different bag and had a book on top but he should have realisedd, esp when he put the wine away! I'm hoping it's ok as it was in my mum's fridge until 9pm, then our living room is cool. The milk didnt feel warm. It's steak in peppercorn sauce, roast potatoes with bacon and toffee and pecan puds. I'll be so mad if we cant use it!!!
It's taken me ages to type this coz T fell asleep on me after his feed. Going to see if he'll go back in basket but not holding out much hope as I need to get him upstairs 1st lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
lol, Mel, it doesn't have different names - Primani is like slang for Primark to make it sound fancier than it actually is! :rotfl: no idea where it came from, really.
Off to Morribobs in a bit - hubby has requested my delicious Mexican tacos for supper(NOT from a box
)
:oOh....haha, I didn't realise:rotfl:
I guess I will arrange a trip to Liverpool and try out some posh undies:DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Have a nice day all x
Shoot! That reminded me I half made a cuppa earlier when I was making DH's sausage sandwiches but I never drank it. It'll be cold and stewed now and I can't make another yet as I have a baby attatched!!
DH has just set off to blackpool pleasure beach with some friends. I think they were all surprised that I didn't want to go and take Alfie
Csh I really hope your head and hair is ok. I have some scalp moisturiser stuff (unopened) that I got when I had a similar problem. I used 1 pack but never got roubd to using the other. Fairies can fly tomorrow if you are interested?0 -
Thanks Gill, we have not long had a BonMarche shop open here, I have never been in because, as you say, It looks like an old ladies shop! tbh I am willing to try all sorts of places, because I am sick of walking round with ill fitting, uncomfortable, holey, straggly, undies, and that is putting it mildly:p:o

I was looking about for buggyfit or similar too, but there doesn't seem to be anything in this area.

There is some kind of buggy fit at Eastham woods. I think I saw it on local net mums. Not that I've got off my fat backside and attended!
Primark or Asda for bras/nicks. The plain t-shirt ones in black, White & nude are really comfy. I'd have a try on though, I find I need a bigger size in Primarni than I do in Asda.
Did you know B'head Primarni has been refurbed and doubled in size? They've taken over the old Woolies. It's still not as big as Liverpool, but big enough.:beer:0 -
Morning all,
I've not sorted anything for Fathers Day except a plant for my dad which I gave him yesterday.
DH is at work today so I'll get him something today and give him tomorrow.
Katie has given him the card she made at Toddlers this week so he's not completely empty handed.Proud to be dealing with my debts

I must get some more myself....I've just got back into my smaller sized peacocks holey knickers and live in fear of someone seeing them if my bend down lol.
Some of the stuff is really old lady as they obviously still need to cater for them, especially since hardly anywhere else does but they do have loads of nice things. I remember laughing when I started there and they told me about the discount (I was only 24) but have been amazed at the number of things I have bought. You can't go wrong with a lot of the blouses etc for work, and I got a gorgeous handbag just before I started my mat leave
Whereabouts are you? I'm racking my brains trying to think where in Cheshire we have opened stores recently. They wouldnt come under my region as we're classed as Manchester.
T has happily gone into his moses basket for a nap wooooo. I should really be making the most of this time and getting some clothes and makeup on.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
