DS1 was a very pretty baby and liked to wear his big sister's sparkly hair clips - so we have lots of picsa of him in those and alice bands and the like. DS2 loves dressing up - as a fairy princess in pink fairy dress with wings, tiara and wands - I took lots of pics with the intent of blackmailing him later in life!:rotfl::rotfl:

I meant to ask, does everyone get a HV visit to discuss weaning at 4 months? I'm hoping i'll get some freebies :D I take it they do it now in case i'm planning on starting now, and to tell me not to? lol

Dont remember this with Henry but will see as going to get William weighed later today..Just picked William up from nursery settling in and he was fine. Only problem is that I have tried 3 bottles with him today and he has only taken about 3oz out of 7oz? Now gone to sleep again!!

TT is still a pain with HF and I dont know what to do, he is practically dry at nursery right through the day. He came home last night minus nappy and wet himself despite constant prompting, went and changed him, came down and proceeded to wet himself again straight away. He did this 5 times in total plus one was a poo aswell.... he knows what to do cos he told me what he does at nursery but just wont do it here...

I've got some fab piccies of my brother when he was about 8 and went to school dressed as a girl for comic relief :rotfl: He had one of my dresses on, tights, headband the whole works! He was so convincing one teacher didn't cotton on it was him! He's now a strapping 6'2 28 year old who gives me 'the look' if I mention them.

    Waahhh no freebies!!! :(:(

Massage was good, Amber was the only baby who didn't scream at some point :A She loves watching all the other babies,so cute! :D

Weaning chat was good, asked her about BLW and she's very pro-BLW and wants me to watch a DVD she has about it. I'll prob do a mixture though, when [STRIKE]i can be arsed[/STRIKE] the time comes

Oh i did get a toothbrush and toothpaste for her though! And a recipe book thing which looks good.

She did a PND check on me too (is this standard for a weaning chat?? lol!) and said i scored 20/30 so need to see GP asap for some pills... She's gonna ring the housing woman too. Not sure what she's going to say but she thoroughly dissaproved of the restraining order comment. Thanks for all your replies, not sure i feel strong enough to go into battle with her via complaints though. Even the HV said this woman has an abrupt manner but this will work in my favour if we can get her on board.

Well done Beenie, sounds like a good conversation and another useful advocate. We are all here to help if you want it, but fair enough to pick your battles and not have a complaint fight about something you don't think will help you much.

Beenie - what a horrid woman! I agree you should complain to everyone possible. I don't know much about housing but would be willing to help write a letter. I'm sure we can all put our heads together and come up with something if it will help.

Was busy doing the usual million and one jobs to get the boys out to school this morning and I noticed Charlotte had vanished. Went into the hall and she was up on the landing. I asked what she was doing and she said proudly "I've just been for a wee all my myself" and then added "and I washed my hands as well" :rotfl:It's the first time she's gone up by herself and managed with her clothes.
Here I go again on my own....

I've never had weaning freebies (or a weaning chat) for any of my 4 from a hv :( Nor any toothbrushes and paste - wah!! *stamps feet again!*

Having done puree weaning and BLW, I would thoroughly recommend BLW, esp if you wait until baby is 6 months. And then don't be worried if they don't eat much for a few weeks - a baby won't starve itself!

Good that she'll ring housing for you xx Don't ignore PND
