I wonder if those bath seats are changing to the lighter colour so everyone is selling off the dark ones but the light ones are delayed
Not sure but I bought the lighter coloured one from Boots 3 mths ago.Fitz aww no freebiesOn the phone she said something about a "pack" so i got all excited lol!! I've already been and bought everything to start weaning, and was gonna give her some baby rice the other day because she'd been unsettled and showing the signs for a good few days, but then decided i'm too lazy and will leave it longer. She's ok now though so i'm assuming growth spurt.
She's 4m+1w now, Cameron was well on his way by now, think we started at 3 and a half months. But the advice was to start at 4m then.
When HV came for our weaning talk she bought me a bookstart bag filled with books and things, a TT sippy cup, blue lol, and my Childsmile stuff which was toothbrush and toothpaste. No actual weaning stuff but free stuff!
& OH is trying to talk me into going out one night this weekend & leaving G with my parents, but I just don't want toI know I wouldn't relax having him sleeping somewhere else, but OH thinks I'm being OTT, maybe I am?! Either way, I look carp in all my clothes so I refuse to go out anyway
I don't think you are being OTT at all. In fact I'd suggest he was being slightly unrealist at you leaving a baby overnight when its so young.
Each to their own of course but I don't intend leaving K overnight anytime soon and haven't yet and hes 6.5mths.
LOL I realise I'm prob at the other end of extreme but I'm sure theres a happy medium somewhere! *for me not less than [STRIKE]3 months [/STRIKE]6 weeks tho!*0 -
SJ are there any bits of your week you don't want your pool to come? Don't want it to clash with a fave mum and baby activity! They will guarantee to be there by 3.45 on the day I nominate
I haven't managed any mums' groups yetAny day next week would be fine - do whenever's cheapest lol
Right off now to swap all the clothes I bought yesterday and post a mountain of ebay items.
Have a nice day all x0 -
i thought the cath kidson buggy was a bit girly'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

This one is fierce but I suspect these are the afterpains I've been hearing about! Last night it felt like early labour... eeeeeeeep!:D
Is OH still on half days to help you? One of my biggest worries when Alice was little was being able to manage when my periods came back but they have been nowhere near as bad as they used to be.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

:rotfl: Two months until we start TTC. Race you?
Think it'll take longer than 2 months to convince OH.
And hire a full time nanny.:D
Although it would be quite a coup on the maternity leave front.... 17 days work in almost 3 years and a guaranteed job at the end of it. My employers would tear their hair out!
Very exciting all this TTCing. You, EA, Som, SS, Kristal and sami (soon)....

I'm going to put the light out now too. I am sleeping in the spare room tonight to try and get a better nights sleep as I can ignore the monitor for a bit longer if I hear H babbling rather than jumping up in case she wakes DH up. But here I am chatting to you! That wasn't the plan. Night. x
Well that sort of plan has worked for us! I'm always right out my bed as soon as he stirs and putting the dummy back in. Hes not even got a chance to decide if he actually wants his dummy or is just rolling over and I'm already up! OH works 12 hr shifts with heavy machinery so I don't really want him going to work tired!
I've decided this is the problem with his broken nights as hes not getting a chance to settle himself.
OH on a run of nightshifts so I've just been ignoring K to see if he settles himself when given half a chance. And he does!! Only needs dummy putting back in at 4am now instead of every 20 mins from 2amzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Hes moving into his own room tomorrow so he can't wake OH and will be left to settle himself*. I'll just have the monitor on very quiet cos I'm such a light sleeper.
*Like for 3 mins as he grumbles, I'm not actually gonna let him cry :eek:0
