As I pay my water bills to Severn Trent Water Ltd I am horrified to think that grants would be paid out to people just to enable them to live in a house that they cannot afford the mortgage on?
Get a job of some sort, sell the house and get a smaller one or change the mortgage as has been suggested many times already. Plenty other people reading these forums are single parents with three kids AND actually have to work to pay the mortgage, I do and with no help from extended family either.0 -

excuse ME! Read my posts I have made on this thread today. I have just said i am setting up my own business, so I am now working.
I was not in receipt of any state benefits anyway.
Severn Trent may give me a rebate because the water from the property runs into a soakaway and not into the main sewerage. Anyone with the same setup can get a rebate, not just offensive people like me LOL.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

The Severn Trent Trust Fund is just that, and a seperate thing to the water board. They can choose who they give money to like any Trust Fund can. Just because a person can afford a mortgage one minute doesn't necessarily mean they can the next: anyone can have change of circumstances. Paying water grants is nothing to do with mortgages anyway. I think you are being harsh.:(Torgwen.....................

Judi wrote:Sarah, you could post your website it on the Referers board. Thats what its there for.
Sarah,
You really should post your website on the Referrers board. I know that I would be happy to give you my business if I could, and I'm sure many others would feel the same.
