Barclaycard searches Equifax for my application. I've done an eligibility check on their website before the application for chance of acceptance - that soft search is done by Equifax only too.0

I think I am going to use a similar blog template to yours. I find it very attractive to the reader.0

American Express recently used Experian and Equifax for a search
Does anyone know who they report to?0 -
Don't refer to this list or use it as any source of credible reference.
The Bank of Ireland and Clydesdale listed agencies for lenders are wrong. They use callcredit.0 -
Did Clydesdale only search call credit on its own or others as well?0

Nationwide is going multi-agency from tomorrow.Following our move to multi-credit bureaus, some decisions will change from an 'accept' decision to a 'refer'. If this happens you might be asked to upload additional proofs:
If you haven't made any changes to the application, you don't need to upload additional proofs. Instead, we'll automatically review it and change it to an accept, which we'll aim to do within 48 hours.
If you have made a change to the application, you'll need to upload all the proofs asked for before we can review the decision and get back in touch.I am a mortgage broker. So its great to see who uses who to check your credit before applying. One problem though, if they use both Experian and Equifax can you request them to use one or the other if you know one gives you a poor rating but the other excellent? For some reason I have an excellent score on Experian but a poor score on Equifax, not even above national average apparently! Both have same info. How can this be right? If I apply for credit and get rejected due to them using Equifax this will further affect my credit. This is just so wrong.0

A lender will only use the data on your credit files, never the scores, which is only the CRAs opinion of you and can therefore be ignored. So if the data is the same, there is no issue.
Rejections won't show on your files - just the search.0 -
Oh ok that's good to know actually thanks0

B banking use Experian for hard check and call credit for ID and reviews, only soft searches.
