Yorkshire Water -> Experian
Hi
Thanks for the information
With Yorkshire Water, do they search or report to Experian, or both?
Regards

Oops only realised I've made half a post, so to speak
Yorkshire Water report to Experian, I've just checked the other 2 agencies and there's no account information from them at all. Don't know about searches as I've had an account with them for some years so any search will be long gone...0 -
Do all water now report their accounts? I know most if not all search if necessary but wasn't aware they actually reporting your monthly conduct.I have numerous qualifications in Business and Finance, Accountancy, Health and Safety and am now studying Law.
Don't rely on anything I write as it may be wrong!!!0 -

It shows on your file just like a loan. Every month you make a payment the reduced amount you owe is reported to Experian until its all paid off, then the next billing year it all starts again.
Can't say if all water companies report your monthly payment behaviour to the agencies as I've only ever dealt with Yorkshire Water.0 -
I hope potential creditors don't see it as a loan, that would wrong in my opinion.
My Gas/Electric show up on my report as does my home insurance, with the gas/electric...the liability is as you go along.
Does this mean that in April, your credit file would show you as owing hundreds and hundreds of pounds? If that happened to me then I would have to give a false name to the water company so they can register the information under somebody else as to me, that is wrong!I have numerous qualifications in Business and Finance, Accountancy, Health and Safety and am now studying Law.
