Forget "its not totally HD ready" its not even close to being HD ready, in fact its the very definition of not HD Ready.
HD compatible is the geek speek for it.0 -
it will take HD inputs and de-scale down from what I have understood, like I said its a great price for a DLP projector. A HD one and youre looking at around 1K0

quote from AVForums:
....not since my days of owning a beautiful Seleco Ceiling mounted projector have I seen such a 'filmic' result. Looks awesome with my 360 and you would be hard pressed to notice that it's not in HD, as it does such a nice job with 720p. I'm currently projecting onto a beige 'textured' wall which I thought would just be unwatchable (just due to the texture on the wallpaper), and the image is stunning
... pleanty more like that :-)0 -
Great price for projector, just be wary of the cost of replacement bulbs. I have found these people to be amongst the cheapest when purchasing bulbs

Still works out at £207, and this may only last around a year or two (3000 hours) depending on how much you use it.Blitzkreig Bob says Hi to those checking his validity!0 -

Just a quick note with regard to DLP. If you're using a PC as your DVD player, and connecting via RGB, set the refresh rate to 75Hz (Rather than say 85Hz), as it reduces the 'rainbow effect' that sometimes occurs. My wife found it unwatchable at 85Hz, unnoticeable at 75!
(I assume it's due to the fact that 75 is a multiple of the 25fps PAL signal)
