My group is very happy clappy, and to be honest can be a bit cliquey as about half the group are all related. It's a laugh though, and it gets me an hour or so away from the baby to enjoy a cuppa in peace! The recipe folder is fab though.

I'd be interested in being a consultant, in fact I've just emailed my consultant about an information event this weekend! Not sure if the time is right for me, but it's definitely something I'm interested in.

Oh no, how disappointing! I really thought it would be very low, turns out I have had over 18 syns today, am amazed! When I think of all the things I could have had for those syns :-(

Quorn stir fry for dinner it is!

... Then back to the drawing board for different things to have for meals out.

Thank you very much for looking it up for me though.

Felicity I've just used the syns calculator for the soup and it has come out at only 1/2 syn on red and EE and 1 syn on Green. So your 900g carton would only be 4 1/2 syns if you are on red or EE.

TBH if there is no oil mentioned in the ingredients list the 0.6g will just be the natural fat that is in all chicken. Personally looking at that ingredient list I wouldn't have sinned it as if that was the ingredients I was using they are all 0 syns.

    Can I ask.......
Do those who have had significant overall weight loss drink a lot of water.
I have followed the plan and lost 5Ib in 5 weeks but put 3 back on during * week so I am failing miserably. I hate water.

Diane I'm only about 5 weeks in but usually drink at least 2 litres of water a day, often more. I couldn't say for certain that it contributes to my weight loss as this is what I have always drank regardless of my diet. But weight loss aside I definitely feel much more healthier for drinking the water. If I go without for a few days I end up feeling sluggish, get headaches and my skin tends to break out. If you do want to try and drink more water maybe start with a small daily target ie fill a 500ml bottle each morning and aim to drink it throughout the day. Or how about drinking some herbal teas (ie peppermint) instead as these count towards your daily water intake. Another idea is to have some hot water and lemon first thing in the morning - I'm not a great fan of this but try and do it at least once a week as its like a mini detox:)

I'm sorry you had a bad weigh in but please don't think you are failing miserably. I know that I retain a lot of water during my * week and some months this is much much more than others leaving me feeling hugely bloated for a good few days. You can't do anything to prevent this so try and focus on next weeks WI where I'm sure you will see a good result. (((hugs))) though in the meantime as I know its still deflating to not get the result you want no matter what the reason.

    Hiya,

Can I join the thread please? I've just rejoined SW last night and have just finished day one. So far so good. I've been a bit hungry now and again but that was mostly becasue I was unprepared and didnt have the right stuff in the house, but that's sorted now.

I've been reading back and was wondering if someone could tell me what Marion's rice was? ( Hi Marion, it's delly from the old old LW threads).

    Thanks,
    Deebee.

    Thanks Claire,
I am trying hard and filling a bottle with a view to drinking it throughout the day - but don't. I have a green tea most days. I normally drink tea but with the amount of milk used am trying to keep off that now.
    I will persevere though x

Diane I don't think green tea counts towards water intake because of the caffeine in it but it has so many other benefits its a great choice of drink. I love it, its the only tea I drink:) Don't pressure yourself into drinking loads of water, I'd just try and drink what you can in the meantime and see how you get on.

Hiya Deebee, welcome to the thread - here is Marion's rice recipe.
