Lots of info on the site, fill your details in but make sure you have everything to hand and filed - keep copies of all letters and all your special delivery/recorded delivery receipts in case the company wants to query your claim, then you have everything to hand.

Blue_monkey, thanks very much for getting back to me and your advice. I've wrote to them last week regarding the telephone and asked them to reply to me, I didn't give them 28 days this time tho as i kinda of forgot.... Anyway, my plan was if they came back and say no..it's their terms and conditions....blah.blah....then I was going to write to 3 and ask them for compensation, since they lost my first two bills.(btw, didn't know if you got this, they actually entered my address wrong, and lost my bills, not i moved house). then i believe 3 will get back to mobileoutlet and tell them off as 3 thinks mobileoutlet gave them the wrong address since they are the part who signed the contract with me. then it's their battle....hopefully mobileoutlet will give me the money....but if everything is messed up and not go the way i wanted, i'll go to court. I won't give up on my money, £367.5 altogether!!!!! I won't let them get away with it!!! If you don't mind please PM your letter to the court anyway just in case. Many Thanks again for your help!

It seems that this is not available to you if you or the company resides in Scotland?

    Hi
First of all, well done to blue_monkey for posting this thread and getting money back.

I had a cashback phone with mobileconnections in Birmingham last year and it ran smoothly. This year, i got a couple of phones amd had nothing but problems from the start.

They made every excuse possible and i had no cashback after nearly 4 months(they are meant to pay cashback monthly). I made numerous phonecalls to no avail.

Eventually i got fedup and wrote to the manager including evidence of every bill i had sent them. I gave them 14 days to pay up and the money was in my account within 7 days.

I think that we should all ensure that if we have stuck to the terms we should get our cashback. Sometimes, letters do the trick rather than phonecalls. Sometimes letters threatening court action work even better. But as the final action we have the small claims court or the website above.
    Good luck
  • Hi. Im currently having problems with getting M12 cashback from OSPS. I received a cheque which was £30 'light', and informed them of this, and they said they'd pass it on to the accounts dept to deal with, but I am still waiting. It has been over 6 weeks since I submitted my claim, and over 3 weeks since I informed them of the shortfall. I have spoken to various customer service staff in that period, who say they'll chase it up for me, but nothing has been done as of yet. Im now fed up waiting, so I sent an email to help@onestopphoneshop.co.uk detailing completely the cheques i had received to outline the shortfall. I also said that if they did not contact me within 5 days, then I would start small claims court proceedings.

Should I now send a copy of the email by recorded post to their head office in crewe as a final warning? Does anyone know of any other OSPS email addresses where emails may actually get read? Also, am I right in thinking that when I submit a claim online, the amount I have to pay to submit the claim will automatically be added to the amount I am claiming for from OSPS. So if they should send me the £30 cheque, say, next week, than I can reject it since I would be out of pocket for making the claim?

    Thanks

just wanted to ask OP what exaclty taking them to court involves after you've submitted your claim and evidence? Do you just wait for a result? How did the cashback eventually arrive-as a cheque via the court or direct from tulip

    cheers
  • I am also having problems with OSPS and E2save. E2save say they haven't received my claims and OSPS can be awfully fussy with their t+c's. I sent the correct bill a few days early and they sent it back to me?!? I rang and asked why and they said because of the slight earlyness. So, I said but what difference does it make, the same bill will need to be sent, but they weren't having any of it.

Can I recommend people use the hotukdeal's link for feedback. Linky here. If people could give their experiences, it would be useful for all users. Plus it will help us to see who is the best retailer to purchase from.

    Thanks!
