To Burn the Digital Download (ISO Image) for those not ordering the 2007 physical disk or purchasing the current deal for 2010 which is download only
Windows 7 users follow the instructions here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/dd451080.aspx (windows 7 beta instructions but havent changed so valid for all windows 7 versions)
For all versions of Windows follow the instructions here http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/ht/burnisofile.htm
It is a relatively easy procedureFreebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. Pass on your good fortune :A0 -
Those who do not feel comfortable with burning an ISO image to disk as explained in previous post would be better buying the 2007 physical disk and when 2010 is released on physical disk, they can then pay the 'small' surcharge to have a 2010 disk delivered - the surcharge is 'expected' to be about £5 but this is unconfirmed (cheaper to burn your own from ISO image if you are confident to do this)Freebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. I'm a student with "UK Open Learning" which is a distance learning centre.
Would I still be classed as a student for the website? Or do they class a "student" as going to a bricks and mortar college, iyswim?2019 Wins

If the download fails you can re-download
Thanks for that, I wasn't sure if it was a one time only thing and there would be lots of hassle if it corrupted and required a re-download.
Off to go purchase now. Thank you for all the info you have provided, you've been very helpful.
Edit: Ok I'm back with another stupid question.......the download is an application (.exe) not an iso? I assume that can be burned in the same way without doing anything to it first?
2nd Edit: Ignore that, the application that's initially downloaded isn't the actual program, it's only to start the 'proper' download.Herman - MP for all!0 -

There's a listing on the site for this:
UK Open Learning Ltd
17 Aikbank Road
So if this is the one, you'll be fine.0 -

As per aliasojo post above, the digital download starts via a download manager
This is how the download is assured. If you have to interrupt the download or the download gets corrupted (unlikely) then the download manager will repair it.
So those purchasing the digital download just need to be aware that they will need to accept the download manager. The program is solely for the purpose of downloading digital content from the seller and contains no malware.Freebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. Just to clarify again, it's still not an iso file. It does come down as an application which you can then either click on to start the install or you can also burn to disk.Herman - MP for all!0

Thanks for the helpful advice bugeyed. I know to some these ? seem trivial, very obv, etc but some people aren't confident with PC so cheers for bearing with me on that.
So I want it on 1 lappy & 1 PC which should I download it onto 1st & how to I get it onto the 2nd device, via the burned disc or email link again?0 -
Or you could save yourself the cash and use the free online versions which will be launched in June. I have been beta testing these and they are as fully functional as the real thing.0
