OH just got paid and there is only £150 left in that account. I need to move at least £1400 to our other account to meet the bills and have a £915 cash back credit card bill that I will only be able to pay £115 :( off rather than paying in full! That £915 did include my car insurance of £246 and some setting up business costs... Most was food, petrol and some frittering!

Our overdraft limit is about 2.5K I think we are going to be close to £2K:eek: in the red before I get paid for the first time. I think it is going to take 3 months or so for us to get reasonably straight from where we are now
Things have impoved a bit since that prediction !

    Currently owe
    £4000
    £3250 - £90 May
    £2856 - £30 May
£1640* - £45 May (aim to pay this off by July when rate runs out - but this should be helped by transfer below)
    £80 - £40 May

    cashback card
    £916 - £116 May
Propose to transfer approx £1200 to new card (includes some May spends)

    Acct 1 £759
Acct 2 £198 - currently anticipate this reaching -£1200 by 20th May significantly better than if I hadn't been paid, but hope that this will be reduce to about £300 by June's pay day. Then can pay card number 3* off in July which will temporarily increase overdraft to around £600 again... but which should then be totally cleared the following month

I have downloaded my bank info into a spreadsheet and put in typical spends by copying and pasting..... Hopefully we won't be worse than that!

:money:Am expecting a tax credit refund of over £400 at some point too which I plan to pay off our debts...
:money:Plus have about £160 in quidco waiting to be received so hopefully this is just a little blip.
:money:I am also owed nearly £100 in expenses already of which about £60 is more than my petrol cost so at some point will really help our finances! This looks likely to be a regular thing but I have missed May's pay deadline so will have to wait until June before I get any expenses paid but by then it could be a significant chunk of money.....

:j:j:jI am still so impressed that I got paid today having only worked 9 days!!!!:j:j:j

Had a lovely and reasonably low cost day today

We met up with a large group of friends and their kids at a local park and then went back to a friend's house for a bring and share barbecue. It was great for us and for the kids and I got to talk to some people I sort of know but had never had an indepth conversation with before which was good. Really relaxing time feel like we really did have a mini holiday...

I have decided to take DD to school and get into work a little later tomorrow too that should hopefully extend that "holiday" feeling a bit longer too!

Glad you found me IMD - I think a few people haven't realised I moved diary pages yet LOL!

Well just had to do a mad tidy and hoover as the police are coming to take a statement from the accident I witnessed about 3 weeks ago! Problem is I can't remember much any more anyway! I did tell the guy to give me an hour as my house could pass for having been burgaled at the moment! He said that was like his daughter's room... I was thinking... yep my bedroom is as bad too ROFL strangely I didn't say so tho.

Work still going well... I think I probably do have a big workload I just haven't worked out how to tackle it yet and still feel strangely calm..... My OH is enjoying the bonus of his wife and DS tidying the lounge and hallway as is pressing on with online gaming.....!

So many things to do so little time.... Kitchen still needs some loving attention but I have packed the dishwasher twice today so its not like I didn't try! We had chilli and rice for tea which was nice.... Trying to do fruit for brekkie at the moment which is fine but can be expensive....

    Hope everyone else is okay

Struggling to get myself up at the moment - going to bed to late - need to sort that out. Took DD to school 2 days on the run tho which was nice. Ended up staying late tonight to make up the time. Left at 6.30 and still home for 6.40pm pretty amazing!

OH hadn't done any tea tho so now sorting that out. I think we are having beefburgers (£1.50) chips and beans so should be a relatively cheap tea. May prepare tomorrow's tea tonight so it makes tomorrow easier!

Still buying lunches and paying for car parking so averaging costs of about £5 a day if I am at my base site and about £2-3 a day if I am not (as can claim expenses). Need to walk more and take lunch but not happening enough yet

I'm strugling with taking lunch again - I seem to have really good times then splurge. Bought some cup a soups tonight to take and keep at work - not a patch on home made soup but cheaper than going out to the deli every day. I don't even have the excuse of getting kids ready in the morning - just me and even then I struggle getting out on time.

The travelling has certainly reduced a tad hasn't it - you must be saving a bomb in petrol alone.

Bring and share BBQ sounds a great idea.
