Have decided to do a mix of food including chilli, cottage pie/spag bol (depends if I can be bothered peeling spuds), pizza and grilled meat! Poss loads of jacket spuds since they were 27p in Mr As for 4!
Had this afternoon off in theory to tidy up but not much got done. Did cook some food and DS has made a cake for me for tomorrow. I am hoping he will do some bread for us too perhaps in the morning. He seems to really enjoy cooking,,,, the computer ban may be helping too lol! He has lost a second phone within a month of losing the first so now he's being punished computer wise and will have his pocket money docked!
OH is really fed up at work but can't see a solution. Not exactly like there are loads of jobs he could go for at the moment. He would like to do something completely different but doesn't seem to know what... Plus we can't afford it - not on paper anyway! I don't want him to be unhappy thoAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Nothing worse than being in a job that makes you unhappy - I suppose all dh can do is keep an eye out and see if anything turns up that he fancies.
Food sounds good - hope the weather is nice for you.
It has been quite bright here but still chilly.
2 phones lost in a short space of time ARRRGGGHHH - my dd never (to my knowledge anyway LOL) lost any - but hers seemed to end up in water at every opportunity - lost several in washing machine, in washing up water, down toilet I think the worse was her Iphone (her pride and joy present joint birthday/Christmas pressie from her oh) got stolen when she was in hospital in the new year from her bed!!!!!!
Enjoy the celebrations

Good luck on your journey - I too am a course addict, last year finished a HNC Business, wanted to do the Marketing this year but no funds and also looked at that MA Creative Writing course as I'm interested in that field. I doubt I will do anything further untill my debt free journey has been achieved though.

Hi Milann and D2b
Sorry I am negecting mine and everyone else's diaries. Life seems to have speeded up again. Had family around yesterday which went well and was really positive but tiring. Combination of buffet, wii games and chat went well!
Today I was doing sunday school and only started preparating at 11.30pm last night. Finished about 1.30am! Went to bed for a couple of hours this afternoon to recover.
DD loves her new bike and yesterday was given a shiney new bike helmet to go with it. I made DS cycle to the youth group tonight with a friend - he got slightly lost so reckon he ended up doing about 8 miles bless!!! His friend was more unfit than him despite being slimmer so they walked some of that !!!! I think it is great though and hopefully will become a more regular thing.
DS and his 14 year old friend are going to babysit while we go out next Saturday. We are doing pizza and bowling with some friends for my 40th! Reclaiming some of our lost youth (never was into clubbing it but bowling, laserquest and waterparks were a regular feature)!!!
Hope to perhaps go out for a posh chinese on the big day... we'll see...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
