Oh wel got home today and he had packed the dishwasher and switched it on. It's a start! He has also ordered a part for my laptop, cleared off some dust and helped me better partition the disk as well... I am sure it had nothing to do with the £55 item he needed to order for his computer!!! LOL
Watching Landscape man at the moment - jealous!!!
We all had tea today that I had prepared yesterday - result! DS made himself pasta salad for today and yesterday. DS unpacked dishwasher and I repacked it. The weather is so good that after getting home for 6 the washing was dry by 8.30pm!
Can't wait for this pay day as hopefully will be able to start paying things off again and getting back on the mse wagon!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

MIL may be coming tomorrow which will make tonight urgent clean and tidy night!! DD has sports day tomorrow - so could also do with washing her kit if she remembers to bring it home! If not need to try and find her spare kit so that one way or another she is wearing clean kit tomorrow.
Feeling a bit better this week than last. Yesterday was a less pressurised day than normal so that was good.
I also need to do my tax credits form asap and get my refund sorted. I need to fnd various bits of paperwork for that tho which is not my strong suit...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

glad to hear job is going well and you are getting out & about, living life - getting that balance can be so difficult
been neglecting diaries jusr recently, new obsession being reading recipe books although need to get that under control as I'm not getting anything else done!! not even getting around to trying out the new recipes - bad bad badI do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0 -

Tonight - a lots of it was spent cleaning, tidying, hoovering - not really finished but going to bed now. Will clean the downstairs loo in the morning and finish off when the kids have gone to school. I only have to be in work for 10 so can probably squeeze a bit more in in the morning!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi SH
just catching up. Make sure you leave time for yourself, the kids are old enough to help out without being nagged and DH definitely can do some housework.
Funny on the hairdresser thing, I will go for a cut, but won't trust anyone to do the colour and the grey is getting very obvious now.

Hi BZ et al
Well Friday I bought picnic ingredients and yesterday we went to a Welsh seaside. Had a nice day with sun, sea and sand. DS swum in the sea and spent £1 on the arcades. DD rode on a donkey. We made sandcastles, played with a frizbee and caught up on a bit of reading. We ate out for tea and had a lovely day. So I think we are definitely doing better at living not just surviving!
Been to church today where DD did a lovely couple of group dances... It was a youth service and everything was done by the young people - impressive!
Need to water garden later.... we are in hose ban territory so it could take a while... Planning sausage beans and mash for dinner and need to do the washing...
We've also been doing some decluttering of clothes this weekend - so dropping 2 big bag fulls at one friends and storing at least another 3 big bags for when a different friend comes back from holiday.
Overspent on groceries again this weekend - massively so think will need to go back to online shopping to control spends!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
